Great for the price
Before all, make sure you're reading a review for the exact product you are buying, since Amazon tends to group reviews of similar products together. The Corsair Void elite RGB wireless are a great pair of headphones for their price, keep in mind they are not audiophile or enthusiast level and you'll see a lot of people trying to compare them to headphones of that level. That said, I've had no problems since unboxing them, you do have to do a little set up which requires ICUE software since the headphones firmware comes outdated out of the box, so make sure to install that, update them and then open the setting tab and adjust to your liking. The battery does last a full day on charge, they're really confortable once you get them set up for your head, it make take a couple of days to get the feel right but once you get them to where you like them they can stay on your head for a long time and you won't even feel them so make sure you sit down and adjust them, don't just throw them on your head as soon as you open the box. They fit perfectly over my ears and I consider them quite big, no issue there. The materials do feel premium, the only thing that it feels cheap is the little volume rocker on the back of the left headphone it does makes it up by being rather solid with no felt or audible wobble and it does serve various functions other than volume control (this wheel controls your actual PC volume, it's not separate which in my opinion is a plus, no more fumbling around trying to find if your headphones or your PC are outputting in low volume) for example, pressing it cycles through EQ profiles, holding it down toggles the 7.1 sound. The mic, features an auto shut off when the mic stick is lifted but if you want, there's also a button on the left headphone for mic shut off too, above that is the power button; the power up and pairing is rather quick so if you like turning it off when you feel you'll be away from your pc and don't need them is painless and quick, I had no issues connecting them to the USB dongle they come with, once I turned them on for the first time, they immediately synced to it. I will answer this question since I had it before buying them and could not find the answer easily, THEY INCLUDE THEIR OWN USB DONGLE FOR PAIRING WITH YOUR PC. It uses a proprietary connection so no bluetooth functionality make that of what you will, I find it excellent since when I built my PC I skipped any bluetooth including motherboards or dongles but for you it might be a big downside. Finally, the signal strength is great, I live in an all concrete house and it's able to penetrate a wooden door closet and a full concrete wall with no signal loss or audio distortion, further than that I do get a disconnect, but I'm able to walk up to my living room and keep the signal with a somewhat clear line of sight to my PC.

Wow, 7.1 quality is off the chart!
I've experienced other headphones that claimed surround sound, only they always fell short... But this Corsair Void wireless headset produces audio quality that rivals the 5.1 theater system I have professionally installed in our 400 sqf family room! Not only that, I purchased the "Used/like new" which is Amazon's version of an "opened or visually damaged box" where they inspect the actual product, & if passed, put a special seal on it for like half price, or even less... Lol, a corner had a 1/2" lightly dented/scratch that I had to spin box around twice to be sure that was only actual damage, that had to be the reason!? The product was spotless otherwise, & still had ALL of the protective plastic films on All of the shinny surfaces, as well as plastic shrink wrap over main head cushion, entire ear cups, mic end, charging cord, & dongle all wrapped & unopened!! Not even a fingerprint! For $47.51 Everything about this headset sounds & feels great! Time will tell, & I reserve the right to adjust this review appropriately in the future! The only concern (if any) that I have, is ... (being the software has a real-time mic feedback for testing) the mic picked up these subtle little sounds that we usually take for granted i.e., smacking/crunching, little chair squeaks &/or reading/whispering to yourself & such are magnified to a level of concern... Being that I'm a gamer, & tend to curse & talk smack under my breath so-to-speak... lol Yet the mic didn't pick-up other lite noises just few feet away i.e., fan/mini-frig/tv in other room, which I could hear UNTIL I put headset on, then it was gone, & mic test didn't pick it up either!) Thus the reason only 4 on the noise-cancellation rating... All in all, this Corsair void headset, comes across as a nice quality product, both firm & soft! The two main features left to evaluate are, battery-life, & the units over-all ability to achieve & maintain a stable connection/range, over time!

amazing comfortability and range. one of the best headsets ive ever owned before.
everything about this screams quality and comfort. this headset has served me well for almost a year and is still working perfectly fine with the exception of ICUE program for rgb lighting taking up more battery making it die faster. this headset is very good for comfort because it has the correct shape and even is set up to mold to smaller heads when you shorten the length. has very good quality sounds aswell as microphone. even after loosing my pop filter for a while i still diddnt have a problem with my ps and other sounds. the microphone is adjustable and has never been faulty when muted. charges very fast and can be used charging. overall i would rate this a 10/10 on a scale of affordable headsets for medium price range. if you cant afford this i would consider checking out the used section where they resell refurbished versions that are stress tested. im sorry turtle beach but your headset doesnt even come close to the comfort of this. im a heavy gamer from dawn to dusk and this has never made my ears hurt or anything. it feels so comfortable it makes me feel better to wear it.

Solid Workhorse for Online Tutoring
These headphones have worked really well for my purposes. I'm an online tutor. The sound quality is clear (of course, it depends on my students' microphones and environments as well). I originally purchased this headset years ago, and I was happy with its performance. During a move to another country, they got left behind. However, at that point, they were still working well. Fast forward five years, and I needed a new headset. I saw these listed. I gave them a shot because of the great price and my previous experience. The control buttons are simple but perfect for my needs. I can easily adjust the sound and mute them without the keyboard. They are relatively comfortable, and the cushioning is nice. They might be heavier than some modern headsets. All in all, this particular headset has been a workhorse for me, and I use it more than the more expensive gamer's headset that I purchased as a backup. If I had to make a minor complaint, the battery seems less robust than some other headsets. Having said that, I can go days without a charge (each day can be 7 hours of online work).
