Black PRO II (CP358-AF) is GREAT. ****Don't ruin it with a NON-STICK SPRAY (i.e., Pam, etc.).****
Update 2/23/23: Check out RECALLS on the Cosori website (see photo). This CP358-AF 5.8 QT Black Pro II is NOT affected by this recall as of today. First, and most importantly, NEVER use a NON-STICK COOKING SPRAY on any air fryer. It will ruin it and make food stick more. If you feel a compulsion to spray, spray the food ... not the basket. Also, don't scrub or use harsh abrasives when cleaning. Let it soak with the dawn dishwashing spray, or even water. (I've never placed it in the dishwasher, so I can't comment on how it stands up to that.) Most of the time, I've found that after it cools off I can just wipe it with a few paper towels. Second, I love this air fryer. I personally prefer the air fryers with a detachable basket, which this one has. It's basically a basket within a basket. They are easier to use (from putting the food in to dumping it out) and even cleaning (by hand, at that). AND, this particular model has a replacement basket available for sale here on Amazon. This air fryer is very easy to use. You press the power on button, then the preheat button, select the temperature using the +/- button and press the play/pause button. It tells you how much time it will take to pre-heat. Once it's preheated, added your food, press the temp/time button to toggle to the time, then press the +/- buttons to adjust the time. If you need to change the temperature or time at any point, you press the +/- buttons. (Many air fryers will not allow you to change the time or temperature midstream. You basically have to turn it off and start over. Not this one.) The basket itself is a decent size. In fact, I think the only difference between this one and the higher capacity air fryers is the depth of the basket. This basket is more of a square shape with rounded corners, and it's not very deep. I like mine to have more surface area and not be as deep. I've found the food cooks faster and crisper. I haven't used any of the pre-programmed buttons because I'm either following a recipe, or the instructions on the food bag/box/carton. I've found that this air fryer cooks pretty darn close to the instructions provided on the bag, as far as time and temp. I do always preheat the air fryer, regardless of what the instructions say. My only gripe, if I had to find one, is that I wish the cord were maybe 3-6" longer since I sit my air fryer back on a center island (and the plug is down on the cabinet). Other than that, I really like this air fryer, which I got on sale for $89.

Works Great!!!!!! Would Buy Again!!!!!!!!
I was looking for an air fryer basket for my oven - then went down the path of getting an actual air fryer. I did a lot of looking on Amazon - read reviews - then YouTube reviews. I decided on the COSORI Pro II Air Fryer Oven Combo. I think it has the best features and better reviews than its competitors even when compared to more expensive air fryers. I've used it twice so far - frozen french fries. Planning on making other things in the near future. The first time - I followed the instruction on the bag of Or-Ida crinkle cut fries. Did the shake - (love the shake reminder - and that I can select or not). Checked a minute or so before the timer when off. The fries were over cooked - but still edible. The next time - same fries - I followed the Cosori cookbook guideline. MUCH better. They still cooked a bit faster than the recommended time. I'll have to play around with the time - I think I got the temp correct. The air fryer cooked them SO much faster than my oven and kept the kitchen cooler. A BIG plus on both counts. I love the removable inner basket and the outer basket that catches all the crumbs - versus just a plate in other models that will fall out when you dump out your food. SO easy to remove the inner basket. Also loved the safety latch that you must slide to remover the inner basket. It keeps you from accidentally removing the inner basket by mistake. The basket size if perfect too. The touch pad controls are easy to use and very intuitive. I didn't have to re-read the manual to use. Cleanup was easy too. Dish soap and a paper towel on both the inner and outer baskets. Dry - done. I'm planning on cooking some zucchini - and - or - eggplant in it soon. Cut into slabs - season - cook. I like both but don't cook because I didn't want the mess of actually frying them in oil in a pan and the extra oil required. I may actually get some veggies in my body with the air fryer. Will probably try some other items too. I am VERY pleased with my purchase of the COSORI Pro II Air Fryer Oven Combo. Thank you for a well thought out and designed product.

6 months in and I'm a believer... now 10 months
I see most of the small kitchen appliances like the InstaPot, expensive programmable rice cookers and specialty ovens as gadgets that do perform well but often not well enough to make it off the shelf enough to justify the expense. Like my sous vide, it works very well but not quite as convenient as I'd hoped. I thought the air fryer was just that, a fad or craze. My initial InstaPot airfryer left a lingering plastic odor and got sent back. The Cosori was recommended and on sale so I took a chance. I've had (and frequently used) it for the last 6 months and I stand corrected. Feb 2024: Going on 10 mos now and we still use this unit for everything from biscuits to fish to french fries and the list goes on. We use it at least twice each week and it still performs to expectations. Here's the update: We wash the baskets with warm soapy water and a paper towel while letting it air dry. We've noticed that in the bottom of both the baskets, the non stick coating is starting to wear to metal. We always use rubber tongs or a plastic spatula to turn or remove food. So far it hasn't really affected to outcome but a little disappointed. I suppose I can always buy a new inner basket. We in fact, use it 2-3 times per week. Chicken wings, thighs, reheating pizza, shepherd's pie, biscuits, fish, fries, turovers, tots, french bread pizza, homemade donuts, bacon and the list goes on. Especially good for snacks (grandkids) you would normally do in an oven like taquitos, pizza rolls, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders only much faster. Add a silicone baking dish and you expand the possibilities even more. The Cosori heats up quickly, is easy to clean and the two-piece basket is big enough to cook for 2-3 adults. I can have a meal on the table in under 20 minutes and they are delicious. I rarely give 5 stars across the board for any product but after 6 months, I've used the Cosori Air Fryer to do everything I needed it to do. I would highly recommend this product.

Take it from a husband who has never cooked a meal in his life...
Talk about a game changer! Since purchasing the COSORI 5.8qt Air Fryer, I have become obsessed with trying new food items, saving recipes, and actually impressing my wife with what I have made with this awesome appliance! I'm semi-retired and I'm home all day, while my wife continues to work. When it comes time for lunch, you get tired of cold sandwiches and leftovers real quick. Now I'm enjoying delicious, freshly prepared, thoroughly cooked meals that I never dreamed I could make myself. For someone who previously only had the skills to drop a Pop-Tart into a toaster, I am amazed at how well I have taken to this, and how easy it is to make incredible meals. Now I'm researching recipes online, watching YouTube videos of how to make various meals, and I'm eating like a King! I spent about 2 weeks researching various air fryers, countless trips to Walmart and Target to see what they had to offer. And then I finally found this 5.8qt COSORI air fryer, and after reading the great reviews and seeing other people online review this on YouTube, I figured I'd give it a go and buy it. Probably one of the best purchases I have made. I am rewarded nearly every day with perfectly cooked meals. I have to admit, making my own wings has been my biggest success. I will never buy wings from a restaurant again - my wings are by far, the best I have ever tasted. I would have never been able to do this, if it wasn't for this awesome air fryer. For reference, I'm 62 years old, and have absolutely no experience cooking, baking or preparing meals. That all changed when I ordered this air fryer. If you're undecided on what to buy, I can honestly say, you won't be sorry with this product. I am not getting paid or receiving a commission for this review. I'm just providing my experience. Hope you enjoy this as much as I have.
