Compact, Quiet, Easy. To Use and Great Results - Cosori Mini 2 .1 Fryer - update 04/18/25
I purchased the Cosori mini air fryer because of its small size. I decided on the Cosori because it’s probably the smallest overall size and I leave my fryer out on the counter. I have used the fryer first time to cook Trader J’s potatoes bell pepper and onion, the potatoes turned out great, onions slightly overcooked because they were cut too fine (delicate) - it will take a bit of learning curve as the air frying temp default is at 400 degrees and what you are cooking. For my first use, I’m happy with the results, it works well. One last thing, the instructions tell you to keep the back of the fryer 5 inches away from a wall as there is a air vent in back to allow proper air circulation, all fryers have similar requirements. There are a few 2 quart air fryers available on Amazon. You can search best mini/smallest air fryers or view a video by “Just a Dads Video” entitled Best Mini Air Fryer 2 Quart Comparison NINJA, INSTANT, COSORI, DASH Back To School. A good comparison of four mini fryers available and has 3 of the more popular brands in the review. The Basket Dimensions (D x W x H): 5.9 x 6.2 x 3.5 in, it’s small but great for single and couple…small but consider what you will be cooking….. UPDATE 09/08/24: I use with the factory settings for air frying, smaller pieces of food brown quickly, you can adjust if you have the same problem, I notice this when cooking frozen french fries. adjust trial by error method to obtain you preference, glad this unit has a adjustment for temp and time to get better results. Overall, am pleased with the performance and the 2 quart capacity. Recommend this product. 04/18/25 Update: I purchased the Cosori in June 2024,, I use the air fryer lightly and it’s performs perfectly as when purchased. Corsair recommends washing after each use, if you wash after each use, this will keep the unit from picking up odors from previously cooked foods and make cleaning easier rather than a deep cleans if left with old oil and food scraps and continue ing to cook next nights meal - it’s easy to clean and highly recommend regular washing, please use non-scratch blue pads, not the green backed sponge… there are people who don’t know how abrasive the green scrubbers are. I don’t know why, but some of my friends don’t wash their air fryers regularly. As I stated in my original review, I decided on the Cosori over the 2.0 quart Instapot because the overall footprint was smaller. This decision was proven out when I was able to purchase the Instapot 2.0 quart for $5 and had the opportunity to compare the two fryers. The Corsori is definitely smaller in size, refer to photo. Though these are both same size (Corsori 2.1 qt - Instapot 2.0 qt. The inside dimensions comparison: The Corsori is “smaller” (6.25 x 6.0 x 3.25 height with tray) to Instapot (6.75 x 6.75 x 2.5 height with tray), Cosori is smaller but taller than and this review update help you decide on what air fryer to purchase. Lastly, the control systems are different, with the Corsori you change temp and time by pressing a button, with the Instapot you rotate the knob to change temp and time, which is quicker to change. The video I referenced in my original review shows the tray falling out when turned over…. The tray stays in the basket via the silicon feet that comes the the unit…not clear why his video shows the tray so loose. Cleaning… search web for videos on cleaning, cleaning inside fryer heating coils and general area will keep fryer from picking up food / burnt on food odors.

LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
I purchased the Cosori CAF-LI211 Mini Air Fryer 2 months ago. So far, I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! In fact, I am trying to remember what my life was like more than 2 months ago, before I owned this little Cosori. This size is perfect for one person. I cannot imagine it would be large enough for 2 persons, but it depends how much they eat, I guess. I have minimal counter space in my kitchen, so I don't have the space for anything larger. I have to store this Mini in the pantry and put it on the countertop to use, which is not a problem at all, it's very lightweight to move around, but it's not completely tiny, so does take up some space. It is VERY easy to clean. Sometimes all that's needed is to dump out any "crumbs" left behind, then wipe with a paper towel. Other times, just put the cooking basket in the sink, squirt a few drops of Dawn detergent in there, fill with hot water and swish around, then after a few minutes dump it out and rinse with hot water and either air dry or wipe dry with dish towel. Soooo easy. The non-stick surface of the cooking basket is wonderful. I use my Cosori mini at least once daily, but sometimes multiple times per day. Saying I LOVE it is an understatement!! Alot of what I cook in the Mini fryer can also be cooked in a countertop toaster oven - I have a Breville Smart Pro countertop Convection oven; however, as great as that Breville is, if what I want to eat fits inside the Cosori's cooking basket, I'll use the Cosori because there, food cooks faster than the Breville, turns out crispier and is less mess. And probably uses less energy too. (but I do love my Breville, too and couldn't live without it either!) I am attaching a few photos to show the types of things I like to cook in this Cosori mini. Nothing complicated. These are things that can be bought in any grocery store, already cut up and frozen, in bags or boxes. All these things turn out very well in the Cosori mini fryer. What's not pictured, but that I cook often, are brussel sprouts, french fries and single burger patties that come in a box or bag (personally, I eat only the plant-based stuff, but a real meat patty/burger could be cooked in it too) Before I ordered my Cosori mini, I did read ALL the reviews and saw that some folks had a problem with a piece of the cooking basket breaking off, therefore rendering the entire fryer unusable because the basket would no longer lock in place. This apparently happened to several people. I would be sick if this happened to mine, but, the Cosori has a 2-year warranty, so I'm keeping my purchase receipt and all records and I'll be *on* the manufacturer if this should happen to my Cosori. Being forewarned of this possible breakage, I handle the basket gently when pulling it out or inserting it back into the fryer. I do HIGHLY recommend this mini fryer, after using it every single day for 2 months straight.

Just right
I'm suddenly cooking for one and after a few months sandwiches or a TV dinner isn't working. Cooking for two worked as we usually had leftovers for supper the next day. Only me? The same thing for three more days? I'm a decent cook but, Pass. This machine is just right for a few frozen french fries. Say, between a small and medium order at What-A-Burger. When it's time to shake the fries, add four or five pre-breaded butterflied shrimp. Then shake again when the shrimp are half done. Supper is ready in about 15 minutes. I'm still figuring how to cook two Gorton's fish fillets along with french fries so they are not mushy. I'll get there. Practice! It's not a high power machine. It's 900 watts, not 1500 watts. When the food directions say "8 to 11 minutes", eleven minutes is the number for me. It's very easy to clean. Hot water with a little squirt of dish soap and half a paper towel as a dish rag is all you need. It's a very quiet machine. The settings are easy. If you can work a Smartphone, you've got this. It's not a kitchen counter hog, it fits easily in a 10" skillet. Think of it as a small counter top oven. I have no idea how well it will cook a chicken breast or thigh. I'm sure it does a great job. I have a gas grill on the patio for grilling. My only small complaint is that I would like a handle on the back as part of a cord storage system. So I could carry the machine across the kitchen with one hand. Nice machine. Works great. Good price. A two year warranty says a lot to me.

Perfect size for one person
I love this air fryer! I recently lost my husband of 50 years and found it very hard to cook for just one person. I decided to try an air fryer. Due to limited counter space, I purchased a 2 qt. first and it was way too small, I couldn't have put a slice of pizza in it. I found this one that was a perfect fit for my space but it was an 'amazon resale' and I was apprehensive. I took the chance and purchased it. It was perfectly packed with all the documentation, etc. and it looked brand new. It was apparently returned unused like the one that I previously purchased and returned. I just cooked a rib eye steak and real (not frozen) french fries in less than 30 minutes and it all turned out perfect. It was very quiet and cleanup was a breeze. I guess I'll start eating real food again. Thank you Cosori.
