I contacted the seller, and after we went through some troubleshooting steps together, it was determined that the unit was indeed defective. I was thoroughly impressed with their customer service; the seller immediately sent a brand-new replacement once it was clear the initial remedy steps hadn't resolved the issue. The new blanket arrived quickly and works perfectly. As for the product itself, I really appreciate its simplicity. I primarily use the two main controls: the heat intensity, which ranges from 1 to 6, and the timer, which can be set from 1 to 10 hours. Unlike other blankets I’ve tried where even the highest setting is only lukewarm, this one provides genuine, consistent warmth. If I were to suggest one improvement for a future model, it would be to make the internal heating wires less noticeable. While the 'footprint' of the wires doesn't bother me much, they are fairly easy to feel through the fabric and might be a nuisance to more sensitive users. I really love my blanket. First of all, it's super soft and comfortable. It's good at holding body heat so it would feel good even if it was non-electric. I'm glad they included a very long cord so I don't have to worry about the blanket getting unplugged accidentally. More great features is a easy to use temperature control going from 1 to 6, with 6 being super hot. And also a timer from 1 to 12 hours before shutting off. The controller has easy to read LED indicators. Despite the very affordable price, is made from a good quality material that feels like velvet. I ordered the full size blanket and it actually covers half of our king size bed for the perfect size for one person to wrap up in if desired. (Which I've definitely done.) 😏 I suffered from serious chills after two surgeries and I'm happy with the choice of blanket I made. Let's just say this blanket was a lifesaver. I even bought both my daughter's a blanket and they're still thanking me and telling me how good they're blankets feel.

Amazingly soft heated blanket!
I love the size and variability of this blanket. It is soft, comes in nice colors, and the perfect size for either lounging on the couch or while in bed. It has 6 heat settings, and you can set the timer for how long you want it on. I have it underneath a quilt and a weighted blanket. I turn it on to a level 6 about ten minutes before bed as the room I sleep in is not well insulated and can be extremely cold in the winter. By the time I crawl in bed, it is toasty warm. I turn it down to a level 2 and set it for 6 hours. The cord reaches from the bottom of the bed to head where the wall plug is located. The buttons are easy to reach and I use a small safety pin to attach it to the fitted sheet so it doesn't slip off the bed. I would purchase this product again if I needed to, and have recommended it to family and friends.
