If I could give this 100 stars, I absolutely would! It's so delicate, and the craftsmanship is absolutely incredible! If you're looking at this and thinking it's a lot of money for a card, you're mistaken. Allow me to introduce you to the first card you'll ever buy that will take pride of place on a display shelf for years to come. I know how this looks, but I swear on my life I haven't been paid to write this review, I'm just completely blown away by this card. My girlfriend burst into tears when she opened it, and she's sent about 100 photos of it to her friends already, which is absolutely not a normal for her to do. This card just scored me half a lifetimes worth of brownie points. In fact, I'd better go apologise to her friends' other halves for making their efforts look a bit lazy. Buy it. I promise you won't regret it!

Turtle Card is EXQUISITE!
I have bought dozens of pop-up cards because they always delight friends and relatives. I bought this one to accompany a book on sea life. This is one of the most beautiful pop-ups I've ever bought. The front is more detailed than most--with the gold foil and slightly raised turtles. The card opens and closes perfectly, and the colors are vivid, stunning. Inside, the blue background adds richness to the graphic, but you'll have to write your message elsewhere. Enclosed is a separate note paper for that purpose. However, mine is not like the picture shown; it has little flowers on it that don't coordinate with the card and are not appropriate for a young man. I will make my own. The envelope is pearlized, cream-colored. It's a square envelope and extra weight, so if you're mailing it, be sure to use enough postage.
