Brilliant overnight back for further away trips
3 or 4 times a year, I'm required to go away for work, involving flights across Europe. I'm fed up of lugging a wheeled case and as ridiculous as it sounds, always struggled slightly with the anxiety knowing the possibility the airline will inevitably request you put said wheeled carry-on in the hold, delaying the journey. So I figured I would get a backpack. I also purchased the Osprey liquid bag to match. First thing to note, is the quality of the bag in general and particularly the robust zips. It's comfortable on my back, the adjustable / moveable front strap is helpful to take pressure off the shoulders and the meshed back padding prevents your back from overheating. Yes, there are cheaper alternatives, however, you tend to get what you pay for and in this instance, it's an incredibly well thought out design that allows you to put everything to hand, organised. This has a top pocket perfect for keys, passport, small electronic devices like power banks, earphones, headphones amp etc. With individual pockets within, designed to hold them in place so they don't fall out when opening, very useful for when you're at security. Also, side pockets for gloves, hats, water etc. Another larger front pocket, which I found perfect for the liquids bag, again, so you can pull it out quickly at security. a rear laptop bag, which doesn't necessarily fit the power adapter, however, this went in the larger front pocket. Bearing in mind I used this most recently to travel to Germany, in the depths of winter (under lots of snow) The main compartment fitted, shoes, all clothes, a shirt, suit jacket with the room required on the way back for a very large pair of military boots and the previous days clothes. I'm confident, outside of work, in summer and with only the requirements for shorts, t-shirts, trousers and a jumper in case, I could probably get a week's worth of clothes in here and have a hassle-free trip at the airports. It was commented on by my colleagues how I appeared to be travelling so light with only one bag, yet still managed to look the smartest the next day with a suit and smart shoes that no one was expecting me to be carrying alongside everything else such as notebooks, laptop etc. Without the military boots on the return, it just squeezed under British airways seats, on the return, it went overhead with no issues. I'm so impressed with the brand, I'll likely buy a smaller pack for same day travelling and a Bergen for multiple day camping.

Prefer this 35L to the 26+6
I have both this 35L and the 26+6. This is hands down a better and more versatile bag for travel. I use both for different trips and needs but find I grab this more often. In comparison, the 35L is so much better scaled for my body, male 6 foot, athletic. The 26+6 looks like i'm wearing a small child's pack and gives a turtle shell effect. The expansion mode makes it even more pronounced. not the case with this 35L. The proportions are perfect for me. There's a few gripes but overall I'm so happy with this simple yet functional travel companion. PROS: So light. it weighs practically nothing Good materials, not flashy but not sloppy either Large squared clamshell opening. Will fit my packing cubes corner to corner. Front loops to add bungie system Separate computer compartment Stands upright on its own when packed (huge plus) 2 expandable water bottles remarkably comfortable and breathable harness and straps Large luggage pass through Carry and grab handles on top, side and bottom Shoulder straps that can be tucked away for clean and clutter free stowing Price per liter is one of the lowest and best value Superior warranty CONS No strap management or ties. they just flop around everywhere. annoying Ridiculously short key chain strap. it's silly Only a single zipper on the front top accessory compartment. Should be double zipper, items slip out too easily No true black option. It's a dark grey that doesn't really match other luggage. Bottom line: I am blown away with how much this bag will carry and how light it is. It's not the sexiest bag, but so very functional and practical.

Versatile, Functional, Strong carry on pack pack fits under airplane seat or above head compartment.
Wow! This bag was a perfect carry on and day pack ! The high quality construction, multiple compartment, strong zipper and strap system delivered everything needed for a 20 day safari. Easy to fit under standard airplane seats or in the over head compartment of small airplanes. This bag easily acted as a one day "survival" safari carry on bag and as a day pack. The back pack straps are adjustable and comfortable and supplemented by easy pick up handles. The main compartment expands or contracts as needed and can be securely closed with zipper suplements including a pull buckle/snap system. It was able to hold binoculars, one pair of insect repellent pants, 3 t-shirt, 1 long sleeve shirt, hat, socks, 3 days undergarments, TSA approved cosmetic bag, small emergency first aid bag, battery pack, adapters and converters, hair brush, sandals with room to spare. The "lap top" compartment provided quick access to reading material, necessary travel reference materials. It easily contracts as a day pack with two side pockets that carry regular sized water bottle. Loved this attractive bags weight, dimensions and portability and versatility.

Awesome bag!
Great bag! I was eyeing this for over a year, but wasted money and time buying the cheaper off brands on amazon. Finally bought this one and it was worth the money and I plan to use it a ton! Very roomy and lightweight. Held a surprisingly large load and it fit under my seat on two Delta flights. It sticks out a few inches into your foot space if it’s packed super full, but it wasn’t an issue. It’s also easy to get things in and out. If you are on the fence, I say give the bag a try.
