I was looking for some nice looking storage boxes for some keepsake paperwork that I recently inherited after my mom passed away- my grandfathers WW2 paperwork, family photos etc. I wanted something better than a just an old rubbermaid shoebox, and theses boxes fit the bill perfectly! They are sophisticated and modern, with clean lines. Simple and functional. The lids close tightly. They can be stacked for an aesthetic look, or used separately. The outside of the box is made of artificial leather but it is well done, and does not appear low quality in any way. The seaming on the edges of the box excellent and are very clean, helping to contribute to the overall quality look. There is a beautiful simple rose gold handle on the front of the box- very nice. While these boxes are not huge, they are perfect for sitting on a shelf, dresser or nightstand (I used the smaller one on my nightstand to collect all of the assorted junk that collects there like lib balm, eye drops, etc and it really tidied it up!) For the price these are great quality and have such a wide variety of uses. As you can see by the image I ordered the ivory, and it is a a lovely color and would match any decor. Great purchase-very happy!
