The accompanying video shows the light ranges. Sorry took during the day, nighttime would have been more effective. Ordered to try out this method of enjoying candles. I lost one home to fire due to contractor error, but it has left me a tad phobic about fire risks. I have a small dog now with plans to add a cat to my new home, as well as another dog, but a large one. A burning candle has so many risks: forgetting its burning, pets or even yourself accidentally knocking it over. Granted this could get knocked over, but then I’m only dealing with cleaning up a mess and not with putting out a fire. But beyond the practicality of this is it’s simply beautiful! Plus it dissipates the scent throughout my large living-dining-kitchen great room perfectly! I love that I can just turn it on or set the timer. The brightness of the light, thus intensity of the scent dispersal is a great feature. I tend to have it on lowest setting. I will be buying more for other rooms in the house and I already plan to give some away as gifts, as I know friends will love it. Great gadget that enhances decor and ambience of the home. The base isn’t real wood, but so far every guest that has liked it didn’t closely inspect it looks good.
