High end vacuum with very good mopping function

I am familiar with Dreame robotic vacuums and own another vacuum and mop product of theirs. The Aqua10 is another high end product from Dreame and I got it primarily for its mopping function which works differently from my existing Dreame product. After using the Aqua10 I must admit that its mopping function is equal if not better than my older vacuum. Setting it up was easy. The instructions are very clear and straightforward to follow especially since I’m familiar with the setup and their app. The fast mapping worked well as expected and it got the room names mostly right. It also shows the furniture in the room if you want to. It got the furniture displayed correctly as well but I turn that feature off for less clutter. It’s initial deep cleaning and mopping took a long time and it went from full charge to 10% soon after it started mopping after it finished vacuuming all rooms and the carpets. Once recharged, it resumed but started cleaning the living room carpet again and started repeating steps it had completed before so I got it to dock, charge to a higher level and then restarted. That seemed to help and it finished the rest of the mopping as well. I was certainly impressed by its routing capability as it negotiated the dining room chairs and the tight spacing very well and got out of the “maze” of chair legs under the table while vacuuming and mopping the space fairly efficiently. The vacuum action is strong and it easily picked up some debris and larger dead leaves from my indoor plants without any issue. It also managed to vacuum my living room shag rug very well, despite some struggles, where my existing vacuum cleaner had failed. For my runners and smaller light rugs it was lifting them up but after a few tries lowered the suction and managed to clean them up as well! The mopping action is also great and I think it exerts more pressure while mopping than my older vacuum with its two mop pads could. However the extension of the mop pads in the older vacuum has more reach compared to the Aqua10. Overall, I think it beats my current well used Dreame vac on vacuuming performance and certainly for mopping. The Aqua10 is less noisy as well except when the main unit is cleaning the dust collector in the robot. I assume the loud suction noise is indicative of a more powerful motor. The Aqua10 is very competitive in its price as well given that it is more of a premium product. Given its performance, looks and efficiency I can certainly recommend it highly. It is a huge labor saver for our household and does its job very well.

Hands-off robot vacuum with genuinely effective roller mopping

In a home with hard floors, rugs, hair, and frequent kitchen messes, this robot vacuum gets much closer to true hands-off maintenance than most models that still require constant babysitting. App setup was quick and simple. Once connected to Wi-Fi, it mapped the space efficiently and took over most of the cleaning process autonomously, including self-washing the roller mop, refilling the water tank, and emptying debris at the dock. The roller mop system is the standout feature here. It leaves floors noticeably cleaner than typical spinning-pad mops, especially along edges and baseboards where many robots fall short. Because the roller is continuously cleaned with fresh water during operation, it avoids the common problem of spreading dirty water across the floor. Carpet performance was also better than expected, with the roller guard effectively preventing moisture from transferring onto the rugs. Navigation is precise and methodical. It follows organized patterns, handles transitions smoothly, and avoids most obstacles with minimal bumping. Suction is strong on both fine dust and larger debris, and hair pickup has been excellent with very little manual intervention required so far. Noise levels are reasonable given the power and all the automated dock functions. The automated dock dramatically reduces daily maintenance. Aside from occasionally refilling the clean water, emptying the dirty water, and swapping the dust bags, it truly runs with minimal oversight. Yes, it’s significantly more expensive than basic robot vacuums, but the added self-sufficiency and cleaning performance make it feel worth the investment for daily use.

Effortless Independence

I purchased the Dreame Aqua10 Roller AE for my sister, whose disability makes traditional cleaning difficult, and it has already proven to be a life-changing addition to her home. Having personally owned two Dreame models for my own house, I knew the brand represented high quality. This unit arrived exceptionally well-packed. The setup requires charging the vacuum before connecting to WiFi, and while the instruction manual was a bit vague on where to add the included 6.8fl oz cleaning solution, we quickly found the port by exploring the machine. Although the app is not very user-friendly and required a YouTube tutorial to figure out the house mapping, the robot’s performance more than makes up for the software learning curve. This machine is much quieter than expected and offers true hands-free maintenance with fresh water mopping and an auto-empty dust box that lasts up to 100 days. The 100% detangling technology is impressive, and the voice control feature provides my sister with the accessibility she needs to manage her home independently. We were particularly impressed by the self-cleaning system that washes the roller with 100°C hot water and follows up with a hot air drying session to restore fluffiness and eliminate odors. Additionally, the EasyLeap system allows the robot to effortlessly cross thresholds and door tracks up to 4cm high. With automatic water and solution refills, this vacuum has truly automated a chore that was previously a significant burden.

Good vacuum at a good price point

I’ve been running this vacuum for a few days now, and honestly, it’s been a massive help for keeping the floors clean with a my dogs constantly tracking dirt inside. The mopping feature is definitely the standout here, instead of just smearing a damp pad around, the roller actually washes itself with hot water at the base station and scrubs hard floors until they’re spotless, leaving zero streaks or musty smells behind. The vacuum suction is incredibly strong on hard surfaces, and I’m genuinely surprised that the anti-tangle brush works exactly as advertised, as I haven't had to cut a single tangled hair out of it yet. It’s also surprisingly smart when navigating the house, easily dodging obstacles and climbing over uneven floor transitions without ever needing to be rescued. However, it’s not a completely flawless machine, the vacuuming performance on my carpets can be a bit inconsistent, sometimes leaving small bits of debris behind, and the companion app is honestly way too cluttered and overwhelming to figure out at first, you also have to consider the overall footprint, the docking station is pretty huge, and because it washes the mop roller so thoroughly, you'll find yourself refilling the clean water tank frequently. Despite those minor gripes and the premium price tag, it’s a seriously capable machine that takes the daily chore of floor maintenance completely off my hands.
