Customer reviews

Works well and spacious
I'm mainly using this as a drink fridge for the office. In terms of cooling performance, I left it at the default middle setting (3) and the drinks get plenty cold for what I'd want. I'd be aware of setting it too cold as you might freeze your drinks and cause them to explode. This happened with my other mini fridge. There is a plastic plate under the freezer compartment, probably to prevent freezing the items right under the freezer. At this point I'm not sure how effective it is but I do appreciate the inclusion. I've had drinks explode for this very reason in my other mini fridge and cleanup was no fun. This mini-fridge sacrifices freezer space for more fridge space and it really does feel spacious. My other mini fridge has 2 separate compartments for freezer and fridge, each with their own doors. This mini fridge has a single door with the extra flap over the freezer compartment. One advantage of this form factor is that the storage on the door is a lot more specious. The drink stacking/dispensing thing on the door can cold 3 or 4 more drinks. Overall I love how spacious this mini fridge is and will be packing it up with a bunch of drinks. With regards to shipping, the fridge was well packaged with a mix of styrofoam and plastic protective pieces. Each corner had a plastic pyramid thing to protect the edges which was nice. I did find that one of the sides has a small dent in it so I guess it isn't perfect, but it was very minimal and it didn't really bother me. One interesting difference between this fridge and my other one is that this one sounds a lot different. I dont know if the type of compressor is the cause or what, but this fridge tends to make a kind of sloshing/whirring sound...? Rather than the typically vibrating sound that I'm used to. I wouldnt say it's better or worse in any way but i figured I'd mention it. Regarding sound volume - you can definitely hear it when it's running. I have it set right next where I sit. Overall volume is about the same as the other fridge however this doesnt make the high-pitched whir that my other one does, which is a win for me. The other fridge will be condemed to the garage and this one will stay in the office.

Perfect for my older daughter’s dorm room.
This compact mini fridge comes well packaged in a corrugated cardboard box with plastic caps covering the corners of the appliance and heavy-duty Styrofoam support to stop movement when transporting. When I see that style of packaging, to me, it means the company cares about first impressions. And it worked. Tells me right away this company does care about the quality of their product and wants it protected as best as they can. The mini fridge features front adjustable feet and rear wheels which allows you to level the fridge on uneven surfaces or easily transport to another location without hassle. We have been through a lot of this style fridge, and I can tell you this is a feature that is typically not on mini fridges. And I am very happy this has the ability to not only be leveled but also easily moved from spot to spot. The 6-foot power cord is another practical feature of this mini fridge. We were lucky with the placement. There was an outlet right behind the fridge. And unlike most mini fridges we could actually wind the cord back up on its built-in holder. – another great feature. And the energy efficiency of this appliance is also commendable. Once plugged in, it makes an odd sound. Its not the typical vibrating sound you get it actually sounds like it is operating under water. Lol, like someone is moving a big pal of water side to side... its very hard to explain, but if you are right next to it you can hear it. Otherwise, it is exceptionally quiet. It has a dedicated produce drawer which provides a specific space for fruits and vegetables, ensuring they remain fresh and crisp. The glass shelf directly above the produce drawer is also removable if you need to store larger items. The built-in can dispenser on the door is a nice feature. It holds multiple cans, keeping them neatly organized and easily accessible. The only downside to this product is the lack of interior lighting which could be inconvenient in dimly lit spaces. It is well constructed, and it just feels robust. So far it is keeping a good temp and my daughter loves it.

A solid first impression
For a compact fridge, the DUMOS DUEAM-X98ABKZZ makes a solid first impression. The size is perfect for small spaces like bedrooms, dorms, or offices, and the sleek black finish gives it a modern, understated look. Unboxing it, I appreciated that it felt sturdy and well-built for its size. The adjustable thermostat is a great feature, especially since it includes a small freezer section—though at 0.3 Cu.ft, it’s more suited for ice packs or a few frozen snacks rather than bulk storage. The five temperature settings make it easy to customize cooling, and the adjustable shelves give flexibility for organizing drinks, snacks, or meal prep essentials. One of the biggest highlights is how quiet it runs—at just 38 decibels, it’s barely noticeable, which is a big plus for anyone using it in a bedroom or study. It’s also energy-efficient, using just 0.41 kWh per day, which translates to pennies on the electricity bill. If there’s a downside, it’s that the freezer compartment is quite small, and the space-saving design means it won’t hold large items. But for a mini fridge that balances efficiency, quiet operation, and decent storage, it’s a great value for students, office workers, or anyone needing extra cooling space without the bulk.

Great Little Fridge
Other than being a little on the noisy side (in my opinion) this fridge is everything you would want it to be and more. It has a shelf that can move up and down. It was packaged really nicely and protected really well. Easy to clean surface. The door open and closes nicely. The bottom of the fridge has feet that can screw or unscrew to make sure you can get your fridge level on the surface without any rocking. It has a good amount of room for how small it is. I like that there is a produce drawer (i feel that is uncommon on mini fridges) it works perfectly for what we needed it for. No assembly is required. It all comes put together. Just need to take off the plastic wrap and toss the box in the garbage. I hope that this review has been helpful in deciding if this is a good product for you!
