Highly recommend
I was looking to replace a set of notebooks that I purchased many years ago. I prefer notebooks that are bound and not spiraled with wire. These exceeded my expectations. The covers are faux leather and stiff, will stand up to a lot of toting about. The paper accepts ink beautifully. It's not vellum, but it's pretty close. Smooth writing experience. These were hard to find, but once you're looking at them, go ahead and purchase them. Pages are perforated and lined on both sides. I use gel pens, which are discernable through the paper, but they do NOT bleed through.

Great bang for your buck
Very high quality for the price! Much cheaper than buying them individually. Thicker than I thought they’d be but it’s a good size for keeping in a backpack. Fountain pen ink doesn’t bleed through so any type of pen will work. There is some ghosting with dark fountain pen ink, but you can definitely write on both pages without getting distracted by the writing on the other side of the page. Perfect for taking notes and journaling. The last few pages are perforated if you want to tear something out without damaging the book.

I bought these beautiful journals for my mother because she loves to write. They have great quality, the colors are pretty which my mother loves, they work well and are easy for her to use as she spends most of her time in bed these days due to aging and disability. These journals are elegant, great quality, which makes me happy to see my mother happy with these as she writes her many thoughts into them. It’s very special.

These are great and will be exactly what we wanted and needed for our homeschool! Great deal compared to what else is out there. Love the colors, but would love another color set option for down the road! They do lay flat and are a great page count size. The elastic band to hold it together makes for easy portability! They are smooth inside and out and good quality for the price!
