I bought these to serve a family member who is not able to eat at the table regularly due to a lack of mobility. These trays have been a very handy when trying to feed someone without a lot of strength. They are durable, yet lightweight to carry and the weight is also important for the person whose lap the tray is on. They are truly non-slip which is a great to prevent spills not only while carrying the tray, but also for the person who is trying to eat their meal from the tray. I also appreciate the two-pack so that I can always ensure one is clean but also, if I want to sit and eat with that person, it's easy to do when you have two trays! When I first ordered them, I was unsure if I'd keep them based on the cost for two plastic trays, however, they've been worth every penny, and I'd recommend them to anyone needing a good set of trays! These can also be used for other tasks other than simply eating meals.

I justified the purchase based on multiple ways I use these trays. We left one tray at a vacation property to safely take our food from the kitchen to the patio. The small non-slip slightly raised dots on the tray prevent dinnerware from sliding. The non-slip lines beneath the tray help keep the tray snug on your lap or other surface.
