This blanket it is a very good purchase and makes getting in the bed in the middle of a brutal winter nuch more comfortable and inviting. The material is soft and comfortable yet tough and rugged. And the blanket heats up instantaneously. It takes a little getting used to the cord and the positioning of the handheld remote that you use to turn the blanket on and off and use the timer, but it's not really a big deal, because the quality and performance of this product is so good, especially for the price. I just wished I had bought it in a larger size, because it's awesome and it's perfect whether you use it as a mattress topper that you lay on, or as a blanket that covers you, because either way, it heats up quickly and makes the sleeping experience comfortable, cozy, and a billion times better than trying to sleep without a heated blanket like this one.
