Customer reviews

Might buy a second.
Keeps your drinks warm. How it compares against other thermoses can't say since I'm upgrading from tumblers but I always drink it within the first hour of work anyway so no complaints. Hasn't leaked on me yet but I don't exactly test god. One thing of consideration is the dimensions. 8cm in diameter all the way up. Just under 7cm from base to the bottom of the handle. Keep that in mind for your car cupholder. I could see aesthetic being at war with functionality here but I think it's heckin cute and I like the way it feels like a cup as opposed to a thermos. Only true complaint is cleaning. This is a cup you absolutely have to rinse as soon as you're done, especially if dairy or sugar is involved. The cup is fine but the lid has so many ridges and grooves there will absolutely be build up if you aren't cleaning it thoroughly. Probably want to involve something with bristles. Edit: Still love the cup but the lid is turning into a little bit of a nightmare. Make sure you dig your fingers in around the rubber area that leads to the mouthpiece. That spot alone has 2-4 areas mold can build in very easily. Be wary of using scented soap as well as the lid can trap that smell and distort the entire taste. BUT I learned putting the lid in the dishwasher helps to erase any lingering smells. Haven't put the cup in because in my experience, travel mugs don't hold up well in the long run with the dishwasher.

Second ELLO purchase...
This is the second ELLO travel mug I've purchased, I am a slow coffee drinker and I love that it keeps my drink hot all the way to the last sip. I really like the design of this one - the handle with the cork inside looks very nice and makes it easy to hold. The wide base is nice and sturdy, though it is too large for the cup holders in my vehicle (it fits halfway down but wobbles around a bit which isn't ideal). The lid looks like ceramic but is plastic. I don't mind that it's white except you can really see the coffee spots around where you sip. The seal is great, but I am careful to keep the vacuum seal slider open before screwing the lid on otherwise the coffee spills out around the edges if even slightly too full. The lid is a bit tedious to clean, but worth it to have a good seal. I have learned to always handwash the base as the paint on my last ELLO mug started to chip after putting it in the dishwasher. Overall a really stylish mug that keeps your drink hot and is nice to hold and drink from. I will continue to buy this brand in the future, all round best travel mugs I've ever purchased.

Yes Yes Yes
My daughter bought this for me, because I love the classic blue camping look. It reminds me of my Grandma, making her Sanka, each morning. The smells remind me of her little home in Elsinore (California), where we would go for a weekend to run and play at Grandma and Granpa's place. I loved their place, there with the pomegranite trees. Grandma had this off white chenille bed spread with this lavendar/white stuffed bear that sat on the chair next to the bed. They always put me on the couch at night and I would snuggle up in my sleeping bag and watch Grandma talking with my Mom at the kitchen table with the red checkered table cloth. I had so many good memories there, of Grandpa playing the banjo and everyone singing bluegrass hymns. No matter what I was going through in my day to day life, Grandma made me feel welcome and loved. This mug reminds me of her and for that...I love it. The mug also has an amazing feature where my tea stays hot for HOURS, does not spill and the handle makes it perfect to hold. DEFINIETLY recommend getting one of your own.

Perfection in a cup
I bought this cup years ago when it had only a few reviews. Loved it. Lost it. Then, I Bought it again. Accidentally left it on the top of my car and drove off. So I’m back buying it again. I just keep coming back bc there’s no cup that is securely leakproof the way this cup is. It’s easy to clean (hand wash), keeps drinks warm for the few hours that I need, and the capacity is perfect. Not to mention the handle is so comfortable. Reasonably priced. $23
