Great gift! Kiddo loved the color, as well as the soft, cozy feeling of the blanket. The color we got was the black and white and is as advertised, fit and size is as advertised. As of now haven't had issues with shedding. I am sure in terms of washing I would wash solo/individually to prevent it from shedding on clothes. In terms of durability we got it at Christmas time and it is still holding up for an 8 y/o and he favorite furry baby.
