Well packed - arrived unbroken
These are exactly what I was looking for... reasonably sized, simple wine glasses that I can use when we have a large crowd for dinner. I have some lovely crystal glasses too, but sometimes you might have a few guest that don't need to be handling expensive glassware. Now when we have thanksgiving, I can let the kids have their drinks in stemware too. Everything on the table will coordinate rather than having different styles of glassware. If one does get broken, it isn't that big a deal since they were a great price. They are sturdy, but have an elegant, traditional shape. They were very well packed and arrived intact.

The Fawles glasses are ideal for wine tastings. There are a number of people tasting, but mostly standing or walking around with the ebb and flow of conversation, not sitting at a table. These robust glasses are perfect. Also, they are general, the work if we have more than one variety of wine in the same evening. They work better for actually tasting wine than plastic glasses, and plastic glasses have the drawback of splitting if handled much. Once they split, they leak. Finally, these glasses are a bargain.
