Works well but I wish the lid had a seal

This warming mug is so nice to have around! It doesn't feel particularly heavy and it does its job well. It both looks and feels nice. The handle has a nice rubber grip built into it. For the primary function of just keeping drinks warm, this excels. And while I wouldn't recommend using it to heat things up in general, it's worth knowing that it is perfectly capable of doing so. The instructions suggest you leave it on the charger if you're going to do that but I didn't notice particularly fast battery drain even off the charger. It's just a bit slow at about 1 degree fahrenheit every 40-ish seconds. But if you walked away from a cold drink for a half hour you'd come back to a nice warm one. While it warns not to run it without liquid inside, it does have an automatic protection mechanism to prevent that which I accidentally put to the test. The good news is, it works! I like that the charging base is small making it low-profile enough that I can just leave the charging base in the cup holder at my computer desk and park the mug on it. My only complaint is that the lid doesn't have a seal and it doesn't sit tightly inside. It wiggles around a bit. As long as you keep the drink upright it'll easily prevent splashing while walking with a full mug and it'll help retain heat which will extend the battery life, so it's still nice to have. I might honestly just try to find a rubber seal that fits it so it holds more tightly. I don't think that's enough to knock a star but it is good to be aware of.

My Coffee Stays Perfectly Hot! Outstanding!

My tea stayed warm for my entire 7 hour work day and that is all I needed to know

I am a tea drinker not a coffee drinker and finding a self heating mug that actually works and does not feel like it is marketed exclusively to coffee people has been a small mission of mine. This one delivers. The 16oz size is true to size which I appreciated and it is easy to use. You just set it on the base, plug it in, and it does its job. My tea stayed warm for my entire 7 hour work day without me having to think about it or reheat anything which is the whole point and it actually followed through. Cleaning is simple, mild dish soap and you are done. No complicated parts or anything you have to be precious about which matters for something you are using every single day. The lid has a really nice seal so you are not worried about spills and the wooden top detail makes it look genuinely classy. It looks like something you would see on a well styled desk, not a generic office mug. The two tone look of the mug and the wooden lid together reads expensive even though it is not. If you are a tea drinker who has been skeptical about self heating mugs because everything seems aimed at coffee, this works just as well for tea. I would absolutely recommend it.

Great buy

I love using this coffee mug at work. It would also make a fantastic present as well - it comes in a nice gift box. I use this to keep my coffee warm in my office. It’s easily charged and the cord is long enough to plug up behind my desk and put the charger behind my screen. It charges quickly and keeps the coffee warm for quite awhile. I also like that it comes with a top to help trap the heat - the top is a nice wood color and looks better than a clear plastic cup. I do wish the top had an opening to sip from though. The handle is a good size and isn’t flimsy, nor does the metal get too hot to where you can’t use it. You can also adjust the strength of the heat of the cup which is cool too. It washes out easily and cleans up well - I haven’t put mine in the dishwasher though. Overall, good value for the money and I use it daily.
