Great case.
Very functional, auto on/off, has a stand and a strap the kindle itself is easy to remove, which I do remove the case when reading in the tub. I purchased this case after needing to replace a cheaper more minimalist case that only lasted less than 6 months. I am a heavy daily user. I read hours every day, my current streak on unlimited is closing in on 500 days in a row. This case is very well made and so far, about a year, is holding up amazing! I am brutal on cases, remove a few times a week, travel, carry w/me in my purse, read at night inside and outside, all manner of environment, about the only thing I haven’t done is dropped it in water, like I said I remove the case to read in the tub. This case is worth investing in as it will last with just a min about of care (by that I mean don’t drop it in water). It protects the kindle and isn’t bulky, I find myself using the stand and strap more than I thought I would and both are well constructed and sturdy. I wouldn’t hesitate to order this case again. After a year I don’t see visible wear, no fraying seams, no worn clothing edges and no cracking in the binding.

Super case, looking at buying one for my son
I bought this because I had no case and my corners were getting beat up. I've had it coming up on 2 years in June, and it's been great. Corners are protected, and the velcro has kept my kindle solidly in the case with no worries of it coming out. I have dropped it, and it's been protected. I like the stand up feature, so when I'm sitting at the table I can stand it up and read. And the hand strap is clutch - I can't go back to not having it anymore. So yep, it's a keeper. I'm looking at buying one for my son, and maybe replacing mine - I generally leave it folded open while I'm at home, and so the spine is worn in a crease where I keep it open. If I was better about closing it, it would be in better condition. My son just got a Kindle for Christmas, and the magnetic case allows his Kindle to pop out easily when he drops it. He wants one like mine, where it's secure, and he can have the strap and stand it up to read at the table.

Comparing reviews- this is what I found stood out for me
I hesitated briefly on this purchase and am so glad I bought it, it is just stunning and I am going to get a second one as a backup as I use my kindle a lot. I have not wanted to move on to a newer version because they seem to have gotten a little heavier. So I was concerned when I saw mentioned that it was a bit heavy or that the kindle did not go into sleep mode when closing- HOWEVER- I found neither. Only first 3 days of use the kindle did not want to go to sleep on closing, I could still see the glow within so would do it manually with the button. But after those 3 days it did adjust and go to sleep on closing and works perfectly. And while the slightest bit bulkier that my old hard shell, it's minimal and still carries easily in my small purse and I enjoy how comfortable the softer cover is to hold. I have to say I am thrilled and I was someone concerned about the weight and it affecting the sleep mode, love it.

The magnets work (on opening and closing as well as when folding the cover back to read), my Kindle Paperwhite fits easily, holding it or propping it up to read gives further options, it is light, and easy to find on a table, or on my bed, or buried on my go-everywhere shoulder bag (the marble cover is easy to find). I can't yet comment on how rugged it is, but I'll know soon, and my last Fintie cover was the best I have had.
