Nice clippers
These clippers were just what i hoped. The design makes for very easy use--handle direction opposed to cutting direction of blades. I've used them to trim grass and cut back ivy. They worked great for both! Nice, sharp, easy cuts. I purchased them for the ivy, so being able to tackle grass at edges is a big plus. The only slightly negative is that the handles are covered in foam, so the open position is a little wide for my hand. But it's b/c i'm female and have a small hand. The handles are not overly padded, it's my anatomy that makes the shears not exactly a perfect fit. But, no complaints--i'm very satisfied with this purchase and glad i went with the Fiskars. Thanks, Fiskars...and thanks, Amazon, for offering!

Excellent value for a good pair of shears
One of the best shears I've gotten. My old pair lasted over 5-6 years. They just kept on working. Excellent for trimming grass and weeds and even small branches. The handle finally broke on my old set and I was most happy to see they were still available thru Amazon. Hopefully they'll still be around in another 5-6 years if and when these give out. I never had to sharpen them. A little WD-40 and they just kept on working.

Perfect for sidewalks, lamp post, or other obstructions in your yard
Works well, very sharp. A little harder to use on the hands but that's to be expected. The quality is very high. Much better than the cheaper rotating blade tool that Fiskars is currently offering
