Great for Quiet Play and Creative Building
These foam blocks have become a surprise favorite in our toddler’s toy rotation. They're soft enough that I don’t worry about flying blocks or stubbed toes, but firm enough to hold basic structures. They reliably hold attention for a solid 20-30 minutes. That’s a win in our book. The blocks are much smaller than expected. The largest ones measure just over 2 inches, so don’t anticipate building towering castles. That said, the variety of shapes, arches, triangles, cylinders, etc. sparks some creativity. They do attract dust and hair easily, so I recommend wiping them down weekly with a damp cloth.

Soft yet firm!
Bright colored, soft yet firm. My kids are grown but these would be great for toddler to play with. I purchased these to use for toy parts on bird toys that I make for my pets. There was no chemical smell or odor upon opening the package. My birds enjoy destroying them. A busy beak is a happy beak. My attached photo is after I cut some into smaller pieces and drilled holes in them for my toy making.

Great for dementia patients
A bought these not for children, but for my aging father who suffers severe dementia. He lives in a memory care facility and doesn't participate in any activities. I brought them in one day and poured them on the table and started stacking them. He followed my lead and really seems to enjoy them. Soon other facility residents were participating too.

versatile foam blocks
This is a great set of foam blocks that i bought because I thought my nephew would be interested, but instead he just likes to play with his matchbox cars. The packaging provides ample space to fit all the blocks back in after I'm done playing with them.
