Comfortable, durable, and provides excellent shade
I originally bought this hat because I wanted my son to wear a similar style, and I figured he would be more willing to wear his if I wore one too. I honestly didn’t expect to use mine very much, but it has ended up becoming one of my go-to hats anytime I’m going to be outside in the sun. The material is soft and comfortable but still feels sturdy and well made. I really like that the sides can be snapped up for more of a cowboy-hat look or left down for maximum sun protection. The wide brim provides a lot of shade and does a great job keeping the sun off my face and ears. I’ve worn this hat quite a bit and it has gotten wet plenty of times, but it still looks almost new. I haven’t had any problems with the material, stitching, or overall construction. For the price, I think it’s an excellent value and I’m very happy with the purchase. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This is really a Big Hat that's still light with a UPF of 80! Very well made with snaps to hold each side of the brim up if that's your choice. The straps holding the snaps to the central head covering also double as holders for whatever kind of head-band you might want to put there held securely. The brim is very wide and has a layer of some sort of insulating material to make it much cooler when the sun beats down. The lighter color hat (Light Gray) is the only one I would pick for going out in the hot sun. A long chin strap will hold the hat down with a compression button-stopper and there's a similar stopper to keep the hat tensioned around your head. Global Warming is here, so you might as well have the right stuff to keep comfortable. This is a great choice for that!

Excellent coverage
Bought this on the Prime Day sale. Love the size of it and it definitely fits very comfortably on my head. I have a feeling this is going to be the most durable hat I’ve had yet. It’s definitely nice and light and the brim covers a good area so definitely no issues with the hot sun. It’s very versatile and will fit in a backpack or a suitcase with no issues. Lovely box that it came in and well presented. The shape was no issue. Just run a cool iron over it to iron out any creases but it was a good shape out of the box anyway. 10/10 for this so don’t hesitate.
