Things are better in the shade
I LOVE THIS HAT!! I wanted a sun hat for fishing, yard work, riding my bike and just general outdoor activities but after a week or so now I find myself wearing this hat all the time. It fits real comfy and looks good. On my bike or even just when standing still if there is a little breeze, I can feel it on my head due to the efficient venting. I soaked it with water before mowing the yard this morning and found out that it dries out pretty quickly, which I like. I was actually looking for a patch or something to cover the logo on the front but after I read what that's all about, I sport that logo proudly. Go ahead- ask me about the logo. This hat is very well built and has every indication that it will be an old friend someday. For now I am very happy with it and wear it daily. I feel like I got it made in the shade!

Fantastic river hat!
Absolutely love this hat for river trips. It has mesh all around the top which allows for great ventilation and makes it super comfy. I really like the size of the brim - it’s a good balance between providing adequate sun protection for my shoulders, neck, and upper chest, while not being unduly large, heavy, or awkward. Love that it has a toggle to tighten it up for my small head during rapids or high wind. The fabric has proven to be durable enough to survive the rough and tumble of being stuffed in a dry bag, exposed to the sun and dirt, and going through multiple wet/dry cycles without ripping or fading. I picked the dark gray color and it is a very pretty blue-gray. If you have the Sherwin Williams color deck I think (depending on the light) it falls between SW7624 Wall Street and SW 7674 Peppercorn.

Really pleased with this hat. It’s lightweight and comfortable to wear, while keeping both your head and neck well covered from the sun. The pull cord is a great feature as it allows you to adjust the fit and make it comfortable and secure. I love the colour too, and the breathable material helps keep you cooler, which is especially useful when you’re out in the sun for long periods. A really practical and comfortable hat.

It does the hat thing well
Fits my 7-1/2 hat size. Nice wide brim and neck flap covers well. Ventilated crown keeps it cool and comfortable. We just came back from a camping trip with strong sun and temperature in the upper 80’s. My knees and forearms came back burned, but my face and neck were unaffected. Good enough for me.
