Highly recommended if you're looking for inexpensive dishes with a great look and feel.
This is exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful, clean, classy and inexpensive. We've been Spring cleaning the house and getting rid of any items we don't use or need, and replacing what we do with decent quality versions. A big one was the massive collection of chipped dishes we've acquired over the years. There's only two of us living in our home and we had over 50 randomly sized plates, bowls and mugs from who knows where, most of which were chipped, damaged or just taking up space in the cabinets and sink. We decided enough was enough, got rid of ALL of them and bought this dish set in black. BEST decision we could have made! All the dishes match, they looks great when you open the cabinets and we don't have massive loads of dishes to wash anymore. They've got a hefty feel to them, so serving meals on them feels satisfying and looks fantastic. They're also great for food pictures, if you're an Instagram dork, like I am.

Pretty and heavy
We had similar style that we bought at Walmart 8 years ago...and I loved them. However we remodeled our kitchen and wanted new dishes that matched the colors. We looked and looked and I found these. I didn't want solid black. I preferred all white but I just didn't see any white that I liked that was affordable. I came across these and they fit the bill. Price was affordable (I needed 2 sets) and the color suited my husband who wanted black. Now, the white is a little more beige/cream than it is white, but it still fits with our decor. I have washed by hand, but haven't used them in dishwasher yet...I hope they dry without water spots. I am pleased with them overall. They were packed very well...good and tight....no cracks or scratches. I feel these will last just as long or more.

Great dishes, ordered another set
Ordered a set last year and then again last month. They look great and are pretty sturdy. My only issue is it sometime has spots on it after pulling from the dishwasher - but that may be more of a detergent thing but have tried a couple different dishwasher detergent brands.
