It's soft, it works- the warmth is pretty spot on. I use it to help with pain management (think human sized heating pad), so the snaps that keep the blanket on my shoulders are fantastic. I'm pretty sure the hood would be fantastic for sitting out in the garage on colder days watching the kids ride bikes... I can definitely confirm it helps make working at a desk more comfortable. Color is accurate; it's really easy to plug and use: three heat settings (lo med high), cuts off after 4 hours.

This was helpful during chemo. I had to sit in the infusion chair for hours so this was cozy and warm. Very soft material and the dark gray color looks exactly as pictured.
