Feature Packed and an Amazing Value
I'm an artist and avid reader who likes my desk space lit evenly for drawing, reading, and shooting videos. This light is exactly what I was looking for. This light is feature-packed, with strong, even light, and is some of the best value I've seen in a product of this type. It's also versatile, useful, and easy to use. The fixture itself is an array of multicolored LEDs. This provides for the possibility of adjusting the color of light you need from a selection of three colors: bright white, warm white, and amber. When I need light for a YouTube video, I use the middle, "warm white" setting, which provides the most natural light, in my opinion. For nighttime, before I go to bed, I like to use the "amber" setting, which lulls me to sleep better. I love that there is an intensity adjustment; this light doesn't just put out one brightness and expect you to live with it; it can go either very dim or very bright. It's highly customizable. Instead of an annoying button way down near the floor, this lamp has a "controller " that you can place right on the desk next to you, which has all the functions in one place: power, intensity, color, and even a sleep timer. I wish more lamps had controls like this. The "neck" of the light is very flexible, allowing you to bend it into a full "C" shape, or even a spiral, and it stays put. This means you can orient the light horizontally, vertically, or however you like. It's more useful than it might sound. The only downside of this lamp is the clamp at the base. It's not a bad clamp, but it's a clamp, which means you'll have to find a flange or edge that's 2.75 inches thick or less to attach the lamp to. It won't mount onto a desk without edges, or one that's thicker than this.

Perfect Bunk Bed Reading Light — Easy Plug-and-Play Setup
This clip-on reading light was very easy to install. It is basically plug-and-play using either an existing USB port or the included USB plug adapter. I installed it on my son’s top bunk bed, and it works perfectly as a reading light. The only small issue I ran into was that I wish the cord was a little longer. Since I mounted it on the top rail of a bunk bed, I ended up using a USB extension so it could properly reach the outlet below. That said, for lower applications or a more typical bedside setup, I’m sure the included cord length would be perfectly fine. The controls function as expected. You can choose between three different color temperatures, and you can raise or lower the brightness in set intervals. The dimming is not a smooth fade, but that really didn’t matter because the preset brightness levels worked well. One thing to note: I have mine plugged into a power strip that is controlled by a smart plug. When power is turned off and back on from the smart plug, the light does not remember the last setting and does not automatically turn back on. But when using the built-in controls as intended, it works perfectly. The flexible arm is very sturdy and easy to position. It stays exactly where you put it without drooping. The light itself is on the larger side and gives off a very nice amount of light, especially for the price. Overall, this is a very reasonable and useful reading light, especially for a bunk bed or bedside setup.

I am incredibly pleased with this reading light. It is super stylish, incredibly easy to use, and boasts a very sturdy build quality. The thick silicone coating over the gooseneck gives it a premium feel and makes it clear that this device is truly built to last. I was having a difficult time finding a directed reading light for my bedroom that wasn’t as harsh as the overhead lighting, and this has completely solved my problem. I can happily read late into the night now without worrying about keeping my partner awake. The size of the light is ample, providing plenty of throw to fully cover my book with a warm, even glow. I absolutely love that both the color temperature and the brightness can be adjusted. This flexibility allows me to dial in just the right amount of cozy reading light, no matter the time of day or how tired my eyes are.
