Tasty 72% dark chocolate- pre-portioned!
I had scouted around online reviews for a good dark chocolate bar (wanted between 70-85%) that's easily accessible both store-wise and snack-wise, and this was one that I found. I am a bit particular, as I've spent a while in hospitality- specifically being a chocolatier- but I can't always jump at the expensive, professional brands that I know are trustworthy and delicious. This a *great* bar that I've enjoyed eating numerous times. Texture is perfect- it's got a beautiful snap. It's dark and a bit acidic, but not overly so... it's got a very enjoyable aftertaste, is just sweet and creamy enough, and doesn't leave your mouth feeling dry. The other thing I love is that it's pre-portioned. It makes it easily accessible, but keeps you accountable for when you need a sweet treat but don't want to go overboard... for me, I need to try to eat a serving size for it's nutritional content, so it means I know exactly how much I need to grab. And of course chocolate in general is more and more expensive- I find this to be a reasonable price in comparison to other bars with the same weight.

I call myself a candy snob. I collect a lot of regular candy just to give it away and make people smile however Godiva I keep and make sure that I am the only one who gets to eat it.
