Fun and functional light with a speaker.

I'm giving this lamp 5 stars, but I have to point out some things that I think could have been made better. First of all, I'm already a big fan of JBL speakers, and I own several. So I was happy to see that Govee partnered with them to create this beautiful lamp. This is my first Govee product, and it gets 5 stars from me for it's size, and brilliant 360 degree all around screen. It's size is not too big and not too small for portability. I just grabbed a backpack to carry this in and did ok with that. I would like to see a case made for this to protect it while running around with it since it doesn't have anything built into it to grab and carry. With the way it's made however, it wouldn't make any sense to put a handle on it. One more thing about the size, I would love to see one of these made in the same circumference, but taller for stay at home use. If this was made at twice the height, that would be amazing, but I won't count on it. I know it would cost twice as much, but I would buy it. This lamp is not waterproof at all. Do not get it around water. That means you can use it outside, but keep it away from your pool, and out of the bathroom. Make sure you read the guide that comes with it for other tips... such as you need to hold the power button down for 3 seconds the first time you turn it on. This speaker has decent sound, but as it only has a 10W speaker, is not extremely powerful and doesn't throw a lot of bass. With that said, I would love to see this made with two speakers and the radiators. One big speaker on top, and one in the bottom. This could really help boost it's sound. With all of that said, the trade-off on the sound comes with the beautiful screen it has that puts out dozens of beautiful light shows while you're listening to music. I love that the lamp has a top light and a bottom light and that both of them can be turned off, or just one at a time can be turned off. This is great for when you're sitting in a dark room working at your laptop and may not want all the bright light from the big screen. The brightness of both lights can be adjusted, and this lamp gets bright. In the dark, even with the light turned down to 5%, it's still a little bright. I don't think anyone will ever have any issues getting good lighting with this lamp. Just be aware it's not made to replace sunlight. It is more of a mood lamp than anything. If you are considering this lamp, GET IT! You won't regret it. Just know that the sound it puts out is about the quality of most small bluetooth speakers you can buy these days, but you will love the light shows. If you ever owned one of those cd radios with 2 small speakers in them, it sounds comparable to those. It's really great for watching videos and listening to podcasts. Listening to music may make you drag out another speaker and just play light shows on this depending on how into your music you are, but I'm satisfied enough with how it sounds to not complain too much. I highly recommend this product. I know I will be using it a lot for streaming video and listening to music. I own several more powerful bluetooth speakers, but this one is my new favorite one. It's my new friend.

Super cool lamp with great vibes

I didn’t expect to like this lamp so much! The colors are gorgeous and super smooth — it instantly gives my room a cozy or party vibe, depending on the mode. The JBL speaker sounds clear and loud enough for chill music or podcasts, though it’s not super bassy. Setup was super easy, and the Govee app is fun to play with — tons of lighting effects! The battery lasts a few hours, which is fine, but I wish it had a handle to move it around more easily. Overall, it’s a really fun and stylish lamp that makes any room feel alive. Totally worth it if you like light shows and ambient sound.

Cool Lamp with Various Features

Cool lamp. Has a lot of integration options and neat features. I got mine to use as a reading light and have enjoyed all the other features. The wake up alarm (gradually increasing tone and soft light) has been a nice change to my phone alarm. The scenes are nice to enjoy as well. Some of the built in audio sounds pretty bad, but others are fine. Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase, even though it's a bit overpriced.
