Description
- Wirecutter Recommended: A five-time selection by The New York Times Wirecutter—including 2026—for accuracy, consistency, and ease of use. This monitor measures systolic and diastolic pressure and pulse rate, detects irregular heartbeats, and includes a color-coded range indicator with an arrow showing where your reading falls within standard ranges. - Simple, One-Button Operation: Select your user profile (User 1 or User 2) and press Start—the cuff inflates and deflates automatically to deliver a single reading. A bright backlit display with large digits shows results clearly—no apps, Bluetooth, menus, or complex setup required. For consistent results, medical guidance recommends taking 2–3 readings one minute apart for a fuller picture of your blood pressure. - Two-User Memory Tracking: Stores up to 60 readings per user (120 total), allowing two people to track their blood pressure on one device. Designed for adults monitoring hypertension or high blood pressure, as well as caregivers. Take readings in the morning before medication or in the evening to review trends over time. - Upper Arm Cuff with Alignment Guide: The adjustable cuff fits arm circumferences 8.75–16.5 in (22–42 cm) and features a printed artery alignment marker for correct positioning. Measuring your upper arm beforehand helps confirm compatibility and ensure accurate readings. - Complete Home Monitoring Kit: Includes the digital blood pressure monitor, upper arm cuff, wall adapter for plug-in power, four AAA batteries for portable use, and a travel case. Need a different cuff fit? Additional sizes are available through our St. Louis based support team - ensuring accurate, consistent readings for every user in your household.

REAL customer service!!!
I purchased the Health Guru blood pressure monitor in April. The monitor had all the features I wanted at a great price. The monitor arrived very quickly. It's operation and programming were very simple and straight forward. I only used the monitor occasionally for a few months. After a visit to my doctor he had me bring in my monitor to check it against his office readings. After doing a thorough test he determined that my blood pressure monitor was not accurate and that I should purchase a new one. Being on social security and on a very tight budget this was not the news I wanted. I then remembered that the Health Gurus monitor had a two year warranty. I have seldom had a good experience when trying to get a company to service a warranty claim. So many companies make it so difficult and make you pay for a bunch of shipping and service charges. Not expecting much I found my purchase order number from Amazon and sent it to Nick at customer service. I explained that I really liked the monitor but that it was obviously not registering my blood pressure accurately and asked if there was any help he could give me. To my surprise I got an immediate response from Nick asking if I would like a new monitor sent!! I replied and he had a new monitor in the mail to me the next day. I had the monitor in a couple of days. At my next doctors appointment I took in my new monitor and it checked out to be very accurate. I have to send my doctor my blood pressure readings every week. At my appointment today he remarked that the readings I had sent him were very close to the readings from my Health Gurus monitor. Nick followed up after I had the new meter for awhile to see if it was working properly. Many companies preach good customer service but fall way short from actually providing it. As a person who has been a manager at a large department store for over 25 years it really pleases me to be able to tell someone they have done a good job. Nick at Health Gurus could not of possible done any more to make me a satisfied customer. Feel confident that Health Gurus will stand behind their products and will be there to help if you do have a problem. Chad S.

Works great, compact
Update 2019: just bought a 2nd one. The 1st is still accurate and working good. Just needed an extra to keep between locations. Highly recommend. As long as they make accurate quality products, I'll be a customer. No need to waste time on researching other brands, I recommend this to anyone who needs a monitor. New model has the power port. Quality is top notch. Original from 2015: Works great, compact, easy to use. Wish it had an optional power port, and it feels a little flimsy, kind of worried about the longevity. I did take it to the local pharmacy, and checked for accuracy. it is accurate. I received the following email from them after originally leaving 4 stars (names removed) Hi ******, My name is ******** with Greater Goods, and I'm the product specialist for your Health Gurus Blood Pressure Monitor. First, and foremost, I want to say thank you for taking the time to leave positive feedback. As a small company (12 people), we enjoy having the ability to connect with our customers one-on-one to not only get feedback about our products, but strive for a positive 5-star experience. Currently, our monitor is rated at 4.7 stars, which unfortunately means your rating of 4 stars actually brings our overall product's rating down. To us, this means we failed to deliver on our own promise of customer satisfaction. Please let us know if there is something we can do to give you a 5-star experience. Thanks, **************** This to me makes me believe in the company. I was a little worried about longevity of the product, but for them to take the time and replay a personal email and not a "bulk" message showed me that even if I have an issue they will stand behind their product. I will recommend it.

I like this machine and this is not a fake review
I have taught many hundreds of students how to take BP’s for their first clinical experiences. I also take BP readings on virtually all of my patients in private practice. Now I need one to monitor my own BP at home so I got this on a lightening deal. As a patient I don’t need razor sharp values, just ball park ones, consistently done with the same machine on the same arm at the same time doing the same thing. I have used all kinds of systems from mercury column to hand-pump and stethoscope to these power-assisted ones. While this machine is not the gold standard way to get definitive readings it certainly is accurate enough, a competant little workhorse, simple to use, not expensive, large enough for most adult arms and I am pleased to have it. I prefer not to use the wrist machines. Getting regular readings and being a partner in your own care with your MD is a good idea. You don’t have to spend a lot of money or get all the bells and whistles or obsessively take multiple readings during your day out of excess caution. Use your best judgement. Many things can affect your readings, especially repeatedly taking them on the same arm in a short period of time. When they vary widely, do consult with your physician because it may be you and not a defective machine. BP’s can vary with some conditions. Read the included essential directions carefully. Even good machines can go out of calibration so if you suspect this is so, some medical supply places may help you recalibrate for a small fee. Be safe and healthy. I will add to this review if there is anything more to say in the future.

Amazing and cost-effective little machine with stellar accuracy.
I don't normally write reviews, but I'm absolutely over the moon about this product. As someone with chronic white coat syndrome/doctor anxiety in general, I consistently get inaccurate and off-the-wall (for me) results on my blood pressure tests when I visit doctors. Recently, I attempted to get on a certain medication that would almost certainly raise my blood pressure, and was denied for the time being because my reading in the office was so incredibly high. I was told by my doctor to follow up with her with blood pressure results taken from places outside of the office (pharmacy, etc). Unfortunately, I don't live very close to a place that does free blood pressure readings. So, I thought to myself, if I would continue to be monitored as I was treated anyway, it made perfect sense for me to buy my own monitor, if not only for accurate results outside of the office, but also for the peace of mind as I started my treatment. SO! With all that being said: This monitor is stellar. For $30 I get readily accessible blood pressure readings that are accurate and easy to understand. It's small, and comes with a convenient carrying case. The memory function is especially nice, as I can look back and see how my readings compare to one another. I have somewhat large arms, and the cuff works really well for me; easy to adjust but fits like a glove. The packaging is also very friendly and the set-up guide is pretty easy to understand. Overall, I'm really, really glad I purchased this, and will get quite a bit of mileage out of it in the coming years!
