I Love my Hamilton Beach 42-cup coffee urn!
I am very happy with this purchase! I bought it for my daughters high school graduation party. It did the job beautifully! The large 42 cup size meant not having to constantly keep filling it up. The dispenser worked great, no dripping, and no problems. The design of this urn is perfect! It's very solid and sits on a strong and secure base, which means it isn't tippy. I was able to have it close enough to the edge of the table to easily fill coffee cups without worrying that it was going to tip over. I have wanted a nice large coffee urn for a long time, and have researched many different brands and types over the years. This Hamilton Beach 42-cup urn is the one I kept coming back to time after time. Being for a graduation party in which I was already investing a lot of money, this was an area in which I was able to save a bundle compared to other brands I researched, and yet not give up the quality which was important to me. I wanted to be able to use this coffee urn for many more events to come, so I could really get my moneys worth. I believe this urn will accommodate that. If you have been researching many coffee urns, and going crazy trying to make your decision, as I was, I believe you can't go wrong with this one!

Definitely recommended
Really nice. Seals perfectly. It holds a lot of liquid. We make coffee for the homeless and so far it has been good for us. Easy to assembly. Easy to clean if you use a brush that reaches to the bottom. Not to heavy. We make the coffe and bring it out side for the homeless and it last it hot for at least 2hrs without being plug. The only bad thing was that we have to use a cheese cloth to brew the coffee. The holes in where you put the coffee are a little to big and the coffee powder can go through it.

This carafe is great. No weird complicated parts, just fill it with water, put grounds in the bucket on the top, and plug it in - easy coffee, all day. Stays hot, makes happy little percolator sounds, is overall just a good little big coffee machine. Just remember to turn it off yourself. There is no switch or timer. Only plug. Short plug. Okay if there was one improvement to make to this it might be more than a foot or two of cord. But it is still a great carafe.
