Hot Shot replacement
I was a Sunbeam Hot Shot user for years. The Hot Shot was discontinued so I found this unit with 1500w & 1 liter capacity. A single cup of water boils up fast and shuts itself off. It has successfully replaced the Hot Shot. Actually, it does everything the Hot Shot did only better. How long will it last? Who knows, but so far so good.

Well made! Perfect size. A little loud but I will deal with it. The base is very sturdy unlike other electric kettles I've had. The only thing I would change is that I wish the lid opened all the way so I can clean it by hand better.
