My best buy of 2023
I'll admit, I was very skeptical when I bought this. I felt like heating blankets were sort of a scam, but after using this blanket EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. for 4 months, I am ready to admit that I was very, very wrong. I use this blanket while I'm at my desk (working from home). Our building is poorly insulated but with this blanket and a light jacket, I can work at 14°C-15°C without any issues for hours on end (thus saving on electricity). I was surprised at how warm this gets: it's not as hot as they'd like you to believe, but I can sense the warmth shutting off at the three hours mark every single time. I always use the highest setting. It heats up quickly and the warmth is dry, cozy, and pretty discreet. The blanket itself is a bit thin (I'd say 1cm) and the sherpa side doesn't stay soft or pure white for very long. The orange color is pretty nice and the seams look solid. It's sturdy and I'm not afraid of moving it around, but I'm still careful to not bend the heating wires inside. I haven't tried to clean it yet, but I'll try to remember to update this review when I do. The only flaw of the blanket in my opinion is the controller. It's in the middle of the rigid electric wire (which is around 6 feet long), so it's always just a bit out of reach for me. It's really not a deal-breaker, but I wish it was a little closer to the blanket (or directly on it?). I'm still really happy with this blanket and I think it's the best purchase I made in 2023. I'm probably going to gift some to my friends and family! 2025 UPDATE: Three canadian winters later, I love this blanket just as much as I did back in 2023! It still works flawlessly and I put it in the washing machine a couple of time without any issue. The sherpa side is more grey than white now, though.

Very good heated blanket. The wiring is well and equally distributed. The control unit is very simple to operate with its single button. Colored LEDs allow for a quick glance of the active setting, from green to orange to red, according to the heating level. The lowest heat setting draws around 10 W to 12 W. The highest one draws 100 W as claimed. The blanket fabric is the typical sherpa-style fabric, soft to the touch. Absolutely love this blanket, I’ve been wanting a heating blanket for awhile (without breaking the bank lol). It’s cute, and does the job for sure! I love turning it on in the mornings while I work, since it was a lil chilly.

Soft and cozy
Love this heated blanket! Super soft and cozy. Washes well, just dry in dryer for a few minutes after it's line dried and it's soft and fluffy again.
