Beautiful color, texture, feel. Awesome cord length!

I would call this color more like a celadon than sage; although sage is a good descriptive too. This celadon is much more muted than the picture Amazon shows; it has a tiny hint of grey & blue in it. Maybe that's the lighting in my place. Regardless, it's a very appealing color. The waffle-like texture on top seems to effectively hide the inner wires & it looks great too, besides being uber soft. The sherpa beneath is nice & thick & soft too; it holds the heat & distributes it beautifully, it also helps to hide the wires. Even with all this texture & thickness the blanket is surprisingly light. When I get in bed now the warmth justs floats me off to never-never land as quick as a bunny. If you like warmth, you'll adore the feel of this blanket. I have only ever set it as high as 6 out of 10 heat settings. And you can set the auto-off from 1 to 10 hours. The controller display is large & easy to read, if a bit bright for nighttime sleeping; I turn it upside down so it doesn't bother me at night. A huge plus, as far as I am concerned, is the extra long cord. I have had other blankets/throws with cords where I had to use an extension cord & the controller (whoes cord was seperate from the power cord) only came up from the foot of the bed as high as my hip (3' & 6' respectively). This blanket only has 1 long cord with the controller 9 1/2' along it & another 6' after that. That provides some flexability! I have read where some folks gave this blanket as a gift & I secretely wish my hubby had given it to me. No matter, I have given it to myself. This blanket would make a thoughtful gift to a loved one for sure. I have definately fallen in love with electric blankets in general & this blanket in particular.

Beautiful blanket But……..Review Update!

11/30/23 update. Did return blanket for a replacement which was here 2 days later. This blanket is perfect! It heats up better than every blanket I have had. The #4 setting was awesome & had to reduce to 3rd setting. The seller also checked in on the return & replacement process & apologized for all the trouble, so now very happy with this blanket!! Such a pretty color, so soft & just a very pretty blanket but so far which is only today when it arrived, it just does not heat up as well as we hoped. And boy do I know electric blankets & tried so many of them. I grew up in Houston, TX & still used an electric blanket year round since always cold, just a family thing. Living there, the AC made me freeze at night, so climbing into a warm bed was always nice, but now living in the mountains, I really freeze all the time. So was time for a new couch EB as we call them so this pretty color jumped out along with the style. Very easy to figure out the control as well. It does come in the vacuum seal bag so it’s a bit wrinkled when you release it, just hope that did not hurt the wires but guessing the company tested that issue. We spread it all out on the sofa & let it rest for a few hours, sounds silly but why not. Then plugged it in & let it heat up on 4 for about 30 minutes. Crawled under to see how it felt & huh? Not very warm so turned it up all the way & it will be ok. If you want a super warm blanket to broil your bones then this one might not work for you. If just nice and cozy warmth then this is the one! Again, I updated this review, see first paragraph. The 2nd blanket is perfect so if you get one that does not warm up properly, Amazon & the seller will get a replacement out ASAP!

Almost totally perfect!

Soooo soft! This blanket is the best heated blanket I’ve ever used. This is my second one, for my daughter. I’ve had mine for 2 years and that’s over a year longer than most electric blankets last. I wish it was the same on both sides because the waffle, colored side is so so soft, but the other side kind of catches on things and is really hard to keep clean. Couldn’t take a star for that though because it never leaves my side all winter long. I have washed it and it didn’t hurt it at all. As for size, I got the twin size. I hate heated throws because they aren’t long enough. This is the perfect size for me to wrap up like a burrito and I never go above 3/6 on the settings, it warms up very nicely. It’s also big enough for me and one or two of my kids to snuggle under. It’s the perfect thickness, allows airflow without it getting stifling, but also not too much that you get a draft.
