Incredibly cozy; works great!
I purchased this heated throw for my senior cat, Stacey, who had to have dental surgery. She loves blankets, but she's never had a heated one, and so I thought this might bring her some extra comfort. It was so inexpensive, I wasn't sure what to think but figured it was worth a try, especially in light of the great reviews. Turned out, this heated throw is amazing, and Stacey loves it (and me too). It is velour on one side and sherpa-like material on the other. It has five heating levels and an auto-shut-off after four hours. It's important to read the instructions, because you really do have to plug it in in a particular order or it won't work (I learned by experience). I personally never really like heated blankets in the past, but I admit to having many great snuggles with my cat over the past two weeks on this as she recovered from surgery. I don't leave it on overnight, but heat it up before bedtime, put it as the top blanket (even though it's just the throw size), and it feels amazingly cozy. Last night, Stacey had a little mishap, and so I needed to wash this sooner than I expected. I followed the instructions VERY carefully, especially since I wanted Stacey to be able to use it again right away, and I didn't want to have to buy another one. After washing on warm/gentle, it just goes into the dryer on low for 10 minutes. It actually came out perfectly and did not leave any dryer lint. Anyway, I wanted to share my experience on this one, as it's pretty rare for a product to surpass my expectations!

Big soft comfortable dual controls
Love it! Light weight electric blanket with two controllers so I can sleep warm and he can adjust his own side. Love how soft it is on the one side and minky smooth on the other. Wires are very lightweight so it's a good light weight blanket even when it's not cold enough outside to use the heating feature. Nice and big on my split last ng adjustable bed.
