HONEST REVIEW: WHAT A FANTASTIC MACHINE!
So I upgraded from an old Epson short throw projector and I cannot explain how dramatic the difference is!!! The picture is better than my 4k 65" TV, thats no exaggeration. I am simply blown away by how crisp, clear and vibrant the image is when projected on a simple white fixed frame screen. Unboxing was simple. It comes in a heavy duty styrofoam case that I saw someone online cut out a hole for the lens and one more for the power cord so that it is protected around kids or while outdoors. Clever. I dont have that issue and mine is mounted to the ceiling (more on that in a second). The remote control is aluminum and hefty. It is also nicely backlit. The projector itself has a plastic case in a nice silvery almost champagne finish. The plastic is so good that it really looks and even feels like an alloy. I dont know how they did that. The included gimble is a nice touch. The stand has a 1/4" female mount for either a ceiling mount or tripod. I oped for the ceiling, like I mentioned earlier. However, the gimble is essential to mounting and I did not want a big rod with the large flat stand hanging off of it. I wanted it as flush to the ceiling as possible. So I opted for a flat camera mounting plate that I was able to affix thru the ceiling and into a rafter in the ceiling using structural screws. The plate, sometimes called a cheese plate, is small enough to be hidden under the stand only takes up about an inch of thickness between the ceiling and the projector. I used a male to male 1/4" screw to attach the two together. You can buy these at your local camera shop or on Amazon. They are super cheap and get the job done for a clean install. Notes: do not get a plastic plate, use a steel one or aluminum, use a stainless steel screw and blue thread lock to keep it from wiggling loose. The projector has it's own streaming platform or operating system called VIDAA. It works perfectly, so no need for additional sticks or wires unless you have it hooked up to a dedicated surround system, which I do. I havent tinkered with the OS to see if it can be unlocked for sideliading, but I will attempt that one day. I cant say anything regarding the internal audio bc, again, I have a surround setup. The projector is ready for 4k, HDR10, HDR+, Dolby Vison and more. On the very first day of use, I noticed my eyes sometimes caught the rainbow effect but the next day, they must've gotten used to it because I dont see it anymore. The self adjusting keystone correction is spot on too!! I have it projecting on a 120" screen at about 11.5ft away. The optical zoom doesnt lose any picture resolution and the auto focus was perfect for me. Im using it in the Standard Mode setting, which it was set to out of the box. It's a bit brighter than Filmmaker Mode, but I like that. Speaking of brightness...this thing pushes out every bit of its 1300 lumens, Im sure. I was worried at first that it would be too dim, but not at all! The image has bright whites and deep blacks thanks to the trichroma lasers and a 3dlp chip, or so Im told. I could not be happier. For the relatively small investment, this projector, thru and thru, is AMAZING! I cant believe it can have all these features for less than LED competitors. Thank you, Hisense for putting out a product that gives us more bang for the buck than I could even expect. This is the best buy of the year! Hope this honest review helps someone else to enjoy the M2 Pro like I am.

So far so good!
I haven't had the M2 Pro for long and haven't put it through a ton of paces, so this is mostly a first-impressions review. But the first impressions are very good across the board! The projector is well-packaged and comes with a hard foam storage/transporation case. The unit is very small and super portable. Setup is easy and intuitive. If you're used to various smart TV interfaces, this won't feel too strange. I've never used any other Hisense products, and this was easy to navigate. The automatic keystoning adjustment worked really well with the portable 80" screen I purchased alongside the projector. Auto focus and other automatic features work well too. It was easy to connect to my Wifi network and access apps like Netflix and Disney Plus through the native interface. It was also easy to connect my iPhone via AirPlay to display the screen through the projector. Clarity, colors, and brightness are impressive for a unit this small. The built-in speaker is nothing to write home about and certainly doesn't compare with a more full audio setup. However, it's perfectly serviceable for what it is. Nobody should have crazy expectations for the built-in speaker in a portable projector. Really looking forward to using this more. Projector tech has come a long way!

Great for Watching Sports at Night
Picture is in our family room, with just a little outside light coming in, showing a college basketball game on a 120-inch screen from Amazon. Automatic keystone, focus, and screen fit are pretty amazing, you get a perfect picture on your screen in 10 seconds. Setup was simple, I was watching videos on it in less than 10 minutes. With 1300 ANSI Lumens, it can handle some ambient light from a nearby room, but obviously looks best in a dark or near dark room. In a dark room, with true HD or 4k content on a white screen, the color accuracy and clarity is excellent, looks just like a giant TV with incredible detail. Built-in operating system is clean and simple, boots up immediately. Speakers are good for dialogue, have balanced sound, and are plenty loud, but if you need more low-end punch for a movie you can connect via the HDMI or bluetooth to a soundbar and subwoofer. Unit is easy to carry, portable, comes with a useful carrying case. Unless you are planning to use your projector in middle-of-the-day hours, I really don't think you need to spend two or three times as much for more lumens/brightness. This is a solid choice for sports or movie night, good value for the money.

Impressive quality and great value
I have been looking for a TV replacement for a while, and decided to try out this projector. I am super satisfied with how high end this product is for a reasonable price. - The set up was super quick, only taking a couple of minutes before I could start casting videos from my phone. - Compared to other high end projectors, it's super lightweight and portable, even coming with carrying case. I can easily move this from the living room to the backyard or even in my car. This comes at no cost to the quality - The quality is great! The colors really pop and the display is very bright. I've owned cheaper projectors before, and you can really tell the difference with this one. Even the sound from the machine is decent, suitable for a movie night. - The screen size adjustment makes movie and gaming experiences so much more enjoyable. You can enjoy the projector with or without light. When it's dark, it feels indistinguishable from a physical TV.
