I'm an HP girl. Always have been and once I find something I like and become familiar with, I don't typically change. I was very nervous about this purchase. In an effort to find "the current, perfect HP printer", I instead found a lot of complaints and poor reviews because HP quality has apparently gone down. I read hundreds of reviews, good and bad. Ultimately deciding to take the plunge. I'm absolutely thrilled. This is a fantastic printer. Set up was so simple. I utilized the HP app was printing in under 10 minutes. Only took about 2 minutes to update current printer on my laptop. Connected to Wi-Fi immediately, prints quietly. Prints are bright, crisp and as you would expect, as is scanning. This printer is absolutely worth every penny. Try the istant ink! Why not, you've got 3 free months to see if it works for you. Side note: I think its worth mentioning that some of the poor reviews may actually be operator error, not the product itself, or connectivity issues.

This is the simple, intuitive printer I've been looking for! This HP Smart Tank model 6001 does everything but my laundry, and as it's a tank type, has an endless supply of ink. If you're not very techy, like me, but want something reliable that you can also understand, this bad boy is it. GREAT customer service, as well, as I still had some "how to" questions. I'm in my mid-80's soon, and they were wonderfully helpful.

Set up was a breeze!
I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews but I'm glad we ordered this printer. The setup was a breeze and we had no problems with the Wifi connection both from our phones and the laptop. The print quality and print time are good for the needs of a home printer.
