The go-to bird feeder.. Did I make a mistake?!
First off, I never write reviews. However, I am new to bird feeders, bird feeding, bird watching etc. so I wanted to help first timers and/or anyone who may be on the fence about this feeder make a decision. I’ve been so happy with this bird feeder and I’ll share it in a lengthy review. If you DO NOT want to read it all; IN SHORT: This feeder is filled with black oil sunflower seeds and it is the go-to favorite for all birds on my feeder set up. It’s AMAZING. I paired this feeder with the iBorn metal large roof and tray 6 port feeder, Kingsyard heavy duty mesh feeder, and winemana suet feeder. They all sit on a 4 shepherd hook pole system I bought off Etsy that has a squirrel guard baffle design. In saying this, I cannot comment on how it is against squirrels, as I do not have squirrels able to get on these feeders. Anywho, I live in West Michigan. I have never had bird feeders before but I live where birds are abundant and in a wide variety. I filled this, and the other iBorn feeder with Black Oil Sunflower Seeds, the mesh with safflower seeds, and the suet with Wild Berry suet. I was told it could take weeks or more for birds to find the feeders. I’d rush home from work to check if any activity was happening. Being the not so patient person I am, after two days I was getting worried when no birds showed up yet. By day 3 upon seeing this iBorn 4 port copper finished feeder half empty I was elated! Hopes were cautiously optimistic when the other feeders did not seem touched. I was curious if a squirrel had gotten on the feeder. All worry was put to rest upon finally seeing my first birds in the evening when two chickadees would alternate perching and quickly fly away. The feeder has been found, and now I was hoping word would spread! By day 4 I was beginning to think I’d be eaten out of house and home. This feeder gets all the attention and has to be refilled daily. Sure the birds check out and use the other feeders; (black oil sunflower seeds), but this is the GO TO feeder for the birds at my house. As stated before I am no bird expert. I’ve only had them up for a 6 days now, but I’m wondering if I made a mistake? Am I going to put the area I live in out of stock on black oil sunflowers? This iBorn feeder has to be refilled daily. The other iBorn feeder gets the brunt as well but lasts a little longer. Safflower seeds aren’t as welcomed as the sunflower seeds are. The woodpeckers love the Suet Songbird Very Berry Cake. All in all my experience has been terrific. The product is very well made, very nice to look at, and very easy to use. I get to view the bird party when not at work, and it brings me back to when my mom would always have bird feeders up as a kid growing up. Unlike her constant fight against squirrels, they seem to stay on the ground for me. I hope this post helps anyone looking to buy this feeder and get into bird feeding, and I thank you for your time.

Perfect for Smaller Birds
Our backyard feeder has become a battleground of sorts, especially in the winter months, between the larger doves and the smaller sparrows/finches, with the doves usually winning out due to their size and numbers. This tube feeder helps create a more balanced/equitable arrangement and provides an elegant style to go with it. The clear acrylic tube makes it easy to see at a glance where the seed level is, and it has a good 2-cup or so capacity to last through the day (or multiples depending on traffic). It's easy to open for filling, with a gravity-assisted cap that prevents unwanted visitors from ransacking it. I like the metal construction for the hardware vs. plastic as our desert Southwest environment is brutal on plastics over time. We don't have squirrels in our area, but it appears to incorporate the usual protections depending on how/where you hang it. There was no assembly required, making it very easy to use right out of the box. It's a great value for the price and provides a welcome addition to our 'bulk' feeder that should make life much easier for the smaller winged friends that like to visit.

Excellent First Bird Feeder – Sturdy, Premium, and Worth the Price!
This is my first time owning a bird feeder, and I'm very impressed with the iBorn 15-inch Metal Bird Feeder with 6 ports in the coffee color. Right away, I noticed how sturdy and well-built it is. The metal construction feels solid and durable, giving it a premium quality that stands out from cheaper feeders. The coffee-colored finish looks great outdoors, and the feeder was easy to hang and fill. Even as a beginner, I found it simple to use. The six feeding ports provide plenty of space for birds to feed comfortably, and I've enjoyed watching more birds visit my yard. What I appreciate most is the overall quality. It feels like a product that was built to last and withstand the weather. Although it costs a little more than some other feeders, the durability and craftsmanship make it well worth the price. As a first-time bird feeder owner, I'm extremely happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sturdy, high-quality feeder.

Birds are loving it!
The birds have finally discovered the feeder and are loving it! As advertised, only small birds can perch on the feeder and eat. I've only had it a couple of weeks, but so far it's much better than the ones I've seen in stores. It is a really good quality and sturdy enough to last quite some time.
