Great Challenge!
Amazing idea, well made and a lot of fun. I’d be curious to know how long it’s taking other people to complete though - it says 90 minutes but I’d absolutely amazed if anybody does it in that time - I’m not academically brilliant but my logic, reasoning and problem solving skills are pretty good (I’m usually the one yelling at the contestants on TV about how glaringly obvious the escape room type things are to solve and I can’t understand why they can’t figure it out!), but this thing, even following the step by step solution instructions took an hour, just so I could put my dad’s Christmas gift in it. My dad’s a super smart, retired engineer with the patience of a saint. As I write this, it’s been an hour and he’s just solved the first step. He’s still smiling and not giving up. I have no patience at all - if it were me I’d have taken it outside and opened it with a 12 gauge already. So, if you like this sort of thing, 5* all day long; if you don’t have patience, you’ll hate your life after 20 minutes. 😂

Totally worth the money as a gift. I didn't do it myself so I can't speak to much of it. The person I got it for seemed to have fun and enjoy it. I can't imagine it's too difficult as he got it open within a day, so I'd put it at intermediate to beginner difficulty, probably. It's fairly sturdy but it can kinda feel like it's gonna break if you manhandle it a bit. Just be a bit tender with the box and the instruments and it'll be fine. It's easy to play with, and the instructions seemed pretty clear from what I glanced at. Perfect for your first puzzle box I'd say!

oh my goodness this is the most fun thing ever! it is a nice size and just looks cool! as soon as it arrived i had to play it. the entire thing is made out of wood. it took me 30 min to do it with the instructions and hints, so it was a little challenging, but so worth it. some of the sliding pieces are a little hard to move, but with infinite playing opportunities that should be fixed just by the moving of pieces. the compartment in the center is just big enough for one of those fun sized twizzlers, so not much space if you're planning on storing things.
