No More Microwaving for Me!!!
I was fed up with the multiple trips to the microwave to re-heat my one cup of morning coffee... when I discovered Coffee Mug Warmers on Amazon! I did my research and read all the reviews. The various mug warmers all started to look alike and have basically the same features. Then I found this one. I liked that Ikago designed theirs with the actual user in mind. I love the detailed front facing LED panel giving you in-the-moment data to gauge how hot your beverage is in relation to the setting you chose. There are continuous temps in one degree increments between 120 and 170 degrees Fahrenheit, and can easily be switched to Celcius. Most others offer 3 distinct temps to choose from, and not that those 3 options wouldn't be sufficient in most cases, I just appreciate the thought that went into the more precision technology. I like being able to see the preset temp vs the actual temp as the warming plate brings your beverage up to the preset. My photos show the blue line present as my drink is being warmed, the green line meaning it has reached the desired temp, and the red line meaning I have lifted my cup. Notice the little red mug icon is present when my cup is on the warming plate. That warming plate is very HOT by the way - don't accidentally touch it, you have been warned! You can see the steam coming from my cup in my photos! When I turn the warmer on, it automatically sets itself to my previous set temp. I also like that even after I have turned the warmer off, it displays a red line for quite some time as a reminder that it is still hot. All very thoughtful and intuitive features, which by my standards are worth the extra cost. The warmer comes with an in-depth manual. Read it. It is clear, in well written English and little pictures. This baby is way more sophisticated than I needed, but I'd rather it do more, than less. I do appreciate the auto shut-off feature, as I'm sure I will occasionally forget to turn it off in my morning haste. This warmer is also marketed as a set with the matching Ikago mug. I ordered a couple sets in different colors as X-Mas gifts. The set looks pretty nice and after placing the order, I was a little jealous that I didn't treat myself to the matching mug - also sold separately - so I now have one of those on the way. In the meantime, I am using my everyday mugs - basic 11oz. or 14oz. mugs from Shutterfly with slightly concave bottoms. They work extremely well, and stay hot on the plate just as I expect the Ikago mug will. The plate itself is black with little sparkly flecks. The flat surface around the plate seems to come in a variety of finishes based on the reviewers' photos I'm seeing even though the listing states "black". Mine is not black, or silver, or even grey... it's like a purply brown mauve color, much like the example in the Listing's Video. The cord is roughly 4 feet long, plenty long to plug into a surge protector I have behind my desk. I'm very pleased with my purchase... if you are still reading this, stopping thinking about and treat yourself!

Possibly the best mug warmer, and it actually fits your favorite larger over-sized mug.
Been considering a mug warmer for awhile. I usually drink from a larger ceramic 20 oz mug, which is a bit wider than the standard size measurement of 3.75" inches most mug warmers seem to use. Problem being - many mug warmers have a ridge around the warming disc so your mug ends up not fitting inside the measurement by just barely !! How annoying. This warmer is wider rated at 4.4" inches and is also flat with the surface so bigger mugs are no problem, even if your mug were to be larger than the warming surface, there just would be less direct contact. It gets plenty hot so even without direct contact your mug would get warm. I tend to finish my cup over about an hour so I shut if off manually before the auto off at 2 hours. I found setting it to 125º F degrees is perfect as anything above it too hot (touching the bottom of the mug, coffee, and the warmer itself). I like that it has a sensor to turn off in the absence of a mug. I turn it off as soon as I'm done and leave the mug on it because I have cats and even at 125º F that disc is hot and it takes awhile to cool down. The underside of the unit does get a little warm, but not super hot, it could possibly leave a mark on painted surfaces over time. Easy to operate the +/- and switch from F to C. Only thing missing is a dimming switch to control the brightness of the LEDs, light stays red during cool down. I bought the slightly less spendy version before it said there was an updated model, not sure what the difference is aside from price? Looks exactly the same and the specs are exactly the same. Otherwise ... Nice warmer, hope it lasts.

Best desktop mug warmer on the market!
I received this desktop mug warmer for Christmas to upgrade my older "gravity switch" mug warmer. This model is superior in all ways except price. Hey, you get what you pay for... 1) will fit most ceramic mugs, esp. the large one's. I have a 24oz ceramic beer stein that I use. 2) has temperature control. The grav switch one just turns on, and whatever temp your mug reaches is what you get. 3) has a sensor to make sure your mug stays at your selected temperature. I keep mine at 125F. 4) safety features: auto-shutoff and mug detection If it does die after 2 years (as one reviewer noted), I'd still buy another one. It's really that good.

Coffee always at the right temperature
An excellent mug warmer! I work from home, and I was pouring a mug of coffee, then getting involved in work, phone calls, or other distractions. Back to the desk, and the coffee is cold. I could go through an entire pot of coffee without ever finishing a mug. This allows me to come back to the coffee sporadically, and always have a hot mug. I chose this one over others because of the adjustable temperature, digital readout, and auto shut off. It works wonderfully, looks nice, and I love the temperature control.
