This blanket is so soft. It feels very thin to the touch but, it's warm enough for a couch throw. The color grey is a nice shade, the design is beautiful and it covers a pretty big area. Perfect for taking a nap or fold in half and use as a leg warmer while sitting in your favorite chair or on your couch. Can't say much about whether it will pill or if it will snag as I gifted this blanket. I'd say it's definitely not a blanket to use in any other way except a throw blanket or decorative top blanket on bed if you want it to last a long time without snagging on something.
