I bought 2 of these for my coworkers as a Christmas gift past December. They loved it. I found it to be a very nice and delicate piece any one can love and appreciate. I think it can hold more than jewelry, I think it would also be great for keys, or some small makeup things like lipstick, for example. I would probably get another one this year for myself.
