Basic is brilliant.
My old Kindle Voyage finally gave up on me after a decade so I had to get a replacement. Actually, I cracked the screen on my old one so it was my fault. I opted for the 12th Gen. Paperwhite over the Colorsoft since the reviews are hit or miss for that model. This is my 3rd Kindle to date and I can honestly say these things are durable, dare I say it, possibly second only to the legendary Nokia 3310. Device and Screen Size: It takes a bit of an adjustment since this 12th Gen. Paperwhite is slightly bigger than my old one but just as light and handy. The screen is also larger since this model doesn't have physical page turners on each side, unlike the Voyage. Features and Functionalities: This is the best Kindle I've had by far. It noticeably runs smoother during page turns and has little to no buffer time when moving from one screen to another. Additionally, it now has Warmth Settings and Dark Mode available in addition to the standard Brightness Option. Set-Up: Quick and easy set-up. I completed the set-up via the Kindle App on my mobile phone and it was activated and synced to my Amazon account in a matter of minutes. All ebooks were migrated, but you still have to manually queue up and download all books on the new device, as one does on any new Kindle. Overall extremely satisfied and happy with the upgrade to my Kindle. Here's to hoping it'll last for another decade (or not, so I can upgrade to another new one sooner).

No sabía de lo que me estaba perdiendo.
No había tenido antes una Kindle. Me estaba perdiendo de un objeto maravilloso, estoy leyendo mas ahora con ella que cuando solo tenía libros físicos (que me siguen gustando igual). Su versatilidad y comodidad hacen muy disfrutable la lectura. Además tiene funciones que no sabía que encontraría en ella.

I love paperbacks, but I read so much that this little device saved me. This is my first Kindle, so I always wondered what was the thing with special screen. Now I see. It’s perfect and not hard for the eyes at all. I can read all day or night. Nothing to complain about.

El mejor regalo de toda la vida funciona muy bien y la compre desde noviembre. si te in te reza pues yo no leía y con ella ya llevo 4 libro porque la cargo para todos lado y me obligo a no estar en el celular. Lo recomiendo.
