Avoid chilly mornings & evenings & bring this along. Wear open, buttoned, tied @ waist.
Beautiful cozy plaid shirt with a loose fit, great for both buttoned and open styles. I missed the pattern changes when ordering, and I received a smaller size (my mistake), but wearing it open works great. It even buttons down, but not as pictured, and even though it is supposed to be a couple of sizes off, it fits my PLUS waistline. I prefer oversized garments, and I am ordering the light pink variant in my size at this great price. Flannels often cost too much for me to invest in because I do not wear them everywhere, and they tend to be warm. However, this is a somewhat lightweight flannel, and I will wear it for sure. We live in an arid, transitional desert inland area with very hot late summers and many warm days year-round, and I run warm. But starting around the beginning of November, I need a warmer garment and/or a light jacket for grunge wear, so I can avoid the chill on cool mornings and evenings, bringing this with me. Tops like this look great with the sleeves rolled up. By the way, the sleeves have buttons, and the hem has a relatively long tail as well. You can also get more versatility by wearing the shirt tied at the waist, either with a top underneath or just buttoned. I would choose jeans over another type of pants. This is a lovely fabric; you can wash it in cold water and dry it on low. I do not recommend bleach. With all my clothing, I tend to use liquid detergents, and if you wanted to go ultra-gentle, you could use the delicate or hand wash cycle and a gentle soap. This shirt will wash very well, though. If you love it and want to gift this to a loved one, I recommend selecting ‘gift’ at checkout; you will have your gifting needs taken care of and get a delivery notification and photo. The perfectly soft fall and winter shacket
The first thing I noticed when I took this flannel out of the package was how incredibly soft it is. It's also thicker than I expected, which is perfect because it'll pull double duty as my California "jacket" when the weather cools off. The plaid colors are really nice—not so bold that you have to plan your entire outfit around them. It pairs well with just about anything, making it an easy grab from the closet. For sizing, I intentionally ordered a size up because I wanted that relaxed, oversized look. I also have long arms, and sleeves are almost always too short on me. Sizing up worked perfectly! The sleeves are finally long enough, and I got exactly the oversized fit I was hoping for. To keep it as soft as it is now and hopefully avoid any sleeve shrinkage, I'll be washing it in cold water and tumble drying on low. Overall, I'm really happy with it and can see myself wearing it often this fall.

I love this shirt! I bought one last year and used it every day during the winter as a sweater. It's perfect for when you are chilly, but a sweater would be too heavy. I bought mine a size bigger than I usually get just for this purpose. This pink and gray pattern is really pretty and feminine. The fabric is very soft and lightweight. It's roomy and long. Very affordable, too. I just might get another one.
