Everything old is new again!
My mom has an early version of this that belonged to her grandfather (she’s 88!) and it still works perfectly, but it stays at a family cottage. As my mom’s rheumatoid arthritis has gotten worse, opening things has become a real challenge. I’ve given her a number of different jar openers, but we came back to this style because it works. I bought her one for her house and one for mine. It’s simple, well-made and works great!

Handy device. This is our second one. The first one broke after 5 years as I tried to use it on a plastic lid and did not have the grip seated properly and I snapped the device apart. It worked on every other bottle lid , no problem. I think it was pilot error.🙃

Don't know how I managed without this!!! It makes opening jars SOOO much easier and almost effortless. The ridged rubber gripper part hangs on tightly while the turning handle does the work for you. I immediately threw out all the other jar openers I had!!!
