Great Quality, Clear, Stable, and Fun!
These acrylic champagne coupe glasses are an absolute blast and will be a centerpiece at our next party, especially for an evening gathering by the pool. The entire concept is built around creating a ceremonial champagne tower, and these are clearly engineered with that purpose in mind. The glasses arrive disassembled, with the coupe/stem portion attaching to the base. Assembly is quick and easy, taking only a few moments from box to, assembled, to a fully stacked display. The first thing that stands out is the material quality. These are made of acrylic, which makes them far more resilient than traditional glass, yet they are impressively clear. From even a short distance, they convincingly resemble real glassware! They feel sturdy without being heavy, which is ideal for party settings where durability matters. What truly makes these "smart" is the intelligent base design. Each glass features three carved-out grooves underneath, spaced evenly at 120-degree intervals around the outer perimeter. This geometry allows each upper glass to straddle three glasses below it and, of importance, lock them into position in a surprisingly stable way. It’s not just a stacking gimmick, it’s actual, structural design. As you build upward, the upper layer helps stabilize the lower layer, which is especially important once liquid weight comes into play. When poured slowly and evenly, the waterfall effect works exactly as intended and creates a dramatic, elegant display. The base of each coupe is slightly beveled outward (on the top) from the center, encouraging champagne to flow evenly over the rim and distribute into the three glasses below. Of course, as with any champagne tower, balance matters. Stacking evenly and pouring gradually is key. This isn’t the moment to aggressively empty a bottle at the top and hope for the best. But when done properly, the result is visually stunning. I set up a 10-glass tower in just minutes, and the structure felt stable and well thought out. At approximately $36 for 30 glasses, you’re paying just over a dollar per coupe. For something that adds this much visual impact and party flair (and that can realistically be reused multiple time), that’s an excellent value. Assuming guests don’t mistakenly toss them out at the end of the night, these should be washable and reusable, showing up for all celebrations.
