One of my all-time favorite books
I don’t have the right words to describe how happy I felt every time I picked up this book to read. I spread it out from April to September. I took it out to the sunroom, sometimes with a glass of wine, and put my feet up. I have a better understanding of French culture from an American’s perspective. Ajiri Aki shows us how to implement “Joie” in our lives here from appreciating our surroundings, to the essentials of connecting with people and ourselves. The pictures are beautiful and the lessons are timeless and for everyone- men and women. I found this book at the Aria Spa and it is not just a coffee book to collect. I savored every word and every page.

I have a friend who loves all things Paris. In fact, she showed me Paris in person! What a mind blowing memorable experience to be shown Paris by someone who loves it dearly! I bought this book as a gift for that very dear friend. It's a beautiful shade of blue & the photographs are gorgeous! The writing within is informative, beautifully written; they draw you in quickly. It's a great book to settle down in a comfy chair & spend hours perusing. I can't help but believe my friend is going to adore this book. I highly recommend you purchase especially if you love all things Paris.
