I LOVE the shape of this decanter
I LOVE the shape of this decanter! I ordered one. I noticed chipping at the top of it, and though I never hit it against anything I figured something must have happened. I then ordered a second one. I realize they are hand blown and vary, but the second one is far thicker in glass and I am less pleased with the shape. It also has a slight chip on the lip of the glass. I am very sad. Update- I changed my review to 5 stars because the customer care team responded quickly and helped me out. I had mentioned the chip on the lip and they contacted me. I sent photos, and they were very apologetic, as quality control is important to them. They sent me another, and it is perfect. As I wrote above, the shape of the decanter is beautiful and a lovely way to present wine for serving. It also serves to aerate more of the surface, so is perfect for big bold red wines (or any wine, really). I am very pleased and would recommend this product.

Looks Great, Works Great, Wonderful Value
This decanter is exactly what I was looking for. We really like the looks. It is simple, cleans lines and curves make it very lovely sitting on the table with wine in it, or empty. The shape allows heavier red wines we like to breath as wanted and expected. The material it is made out of is thick and seems sturdy enough. It feels good in the hands when pouring. There are a few bubbles in the crystal, which for my purposes and the price don't bother me at all. This is meant to be a pretty and functional piece not a showcase piece. Out of the lip is extremely sharp. Like be careful or you will cut yourself sharp. I can see where this would allow the lip to chip easily if knocked on something. An emery board softened it and took the edge off. We have not had it long enough to rate long term durability, but don't expect problems as we will handle it with care. Overall and for the price this is a wonderful item.

I bought this because I was looking for a decanter for our red wines. I wanted something sleek but functional. There were other fancy/more avant garde styled options but I chose this one for two reasons. One, I didn't want something with very thin glass that could break easily, and two, I wanted to make sure that the lip was wide enough for easy cleaning and ease of pouring the wine from the bottle. This decanter is perfect and I'm happy with my purchase.

Excellent, elegant packaging
This is simply an unbelievable value. For the price, I was expecting low-grade materials, and something simply "functional." But, my mind is blown. Excellent, elegant packaging, a note from the seller, and it looks great. We drink a LOT of wine, and this thing will be in use 4 days a week if not more. I could not be happier.
