Description
- UP TO 9 DAILY ALARMS: More Reminders Than Standard 6-Alarm Dispensers for Complex Medication Schedules - Most pill dispensers max out at 6 alarms—but complex regimens often need more. With up to 9 customizable daily reminders, this dispenser handles early morning, breakfast, lunch, dinner, bedtime, and even overnight doses. Ideal for chronic care patients, post-surgery recovery, or anyone on a multi-dose schedule. Dual sound and light alerts ensure no dose is missed, boosting medication adherence without any monthly subscription fees. - FRONT-MOUNTED KEY LOCK: Secure Access Without Flipping the Entire Unit - Unlike rear-lock dispensers that force you to flip the whole device—spilling and mixing pills in the process—our lock is mounted on the front panel for effortless access. One key secures both the lid and the battery cover, preventing accidental ingestion by dementia patients or curious children, and stopping batteries from being removed or lost. It's a simple design choice that makes daily use dramatically easier for both seniors and caregivers. - ERGONOMIC CURVED LID & EASY PILL RETRIEVAL: Designed for Arthritic Hands and Limited Grip Strength - The gently curved lid provides a secure, comfortable grip, allowing seniors, Parkinson's patients, or those with weakened hand strength to move or invert the dispenser effortlessly. When the alarm sounds, simply slide open the drug window, flip the unit upside down, and pour out the pills—no pinching tiny compartments, no struggling with stiff lids. The oversized bright LCD screen with jumbo text displays time and alarm status clearly, visible at a glance even by low-vision users. - 4-BUTTON INTUITIVE PROGRAMMING WITH SYMBOL MARKINGS: Setup in Minutes, No Confusion - Forget complicated 3-button systems with no visual guidance. Our upgraded 4-button panel features clear symbol markings, making it easy for caregivers to set the current time, program up to 9 daily alarms, choose from 3 volume levels (including mute) and 3 ringtones, and switch between 12/24-hour formats. All settings are saved even during battery changes, so you only need to set it up once. - 9 DOSAGE RINGS & 28 LARGE COMPARTMENTS: Flexible Scheduling, Less Refilling - While standard dispensers include only 6 dosage rings, our upgraded version provides 9 interchangeable rings—matching your 9 daily alarms for complete scheduling flexibility. Each of the 28 compartments holds up to 24 aspirin-sized tablets, accommodating prescriptions, vitamins, fish oil, and supplements in one organized tray. The removable carousel makes refilling fast and mess-free, minimizing the time caregivers spend on medication management.

Improved automatic pill dispenser
We've actually used another pill dispenser similar to this one for my husband's morning meds, but from a different brand. While he's not a dementia patient, he's often very sleepy when taking his meds and sometime can't remember if he's already taken them or not. This one is mostly an improvement over that other dispenser with only one potential downside, which is that the text on the day rings is pretty small. This isn't really an issue for my husband (yet?) but could be a little more of a problem or annoyance for others. Unlike our previous dispenser, this lid locks from above, which is much easier to maneuver. It feels pretty secure and there's little to no gap between the lid and the little dividers between days so I don't think any pills could possibly slip out of their designated spot, even if this was stored sideways. The battery lid uses the same key lock, which is a nice added safety feature. The display on this dispenser is also much larger and has a lot more information on it, like what alarm pattern (A, B, or C) is currently selected, what the volume level is (low, high, or muted), and battery level. However, the best addition to this display is showing what time the next alarm is currently set to, which I think will be especially helpful for anyone using this for more than one dose a day. With this style of dispenser, you do need to be able to lift up and flip over the entire dispenser in order to turn the alarm off. It's not terribly heavy, but this will be limiting to some people, although I'd suspect that those who would have difficulty with this task are probably already receiving some sort of caretaking assistance anyways. The lights on the side do flash as well, so it can be useful even for someone deaf or hard of hearing. In addition to helping to portion out and remind to take meds on time, the clear lid also lets you see how much is left in the dispenser. As you can see in my video, we need to make sure to look into a refill for my husband in the next couple of days and this is much easier to keep track of than just pills stacked inside a bottle.

I like this large Pill/Supplement Organizer, which for me holds a whole month's worth in one device.
I like this large Pill/Supplement Organizer by JULOS, which for me holds a whole month's worth in one device. It adds a great bunch of features as an Automatic Pill Dispenser with many options. I’d imagine that for the average senior, this would be very difficult to program. But with the younger generation knowing how to do everything electronically, it would be no problem for them or an up-to-date middle-ager who is hopefully lovingly taking care of a parent or grandparent in need. The senior generations now and in the future are going to need lots of help. I have tried out a dozen pill organizers, and each time I seem to find the one I say it better than all the others. Well, that is the case with this one as well! Out of all of those organizers I currently use (4) weekly organizers, each with various sizes of containers and some with day and night setups. Because my night-time regimen is only two supplements, this is going to be perfect for a near whole month (28 days) ! I love that, as I can shelf the 4 I am using now for someone else. I am taking the simple route and will only need to use the ring that has 28 separate days with one slot per day. I took a picture with 2 different bunches of supplements (I only take pharma pill a day) with one being the average that only took up half of the day container. The other has one of those gigantic fish oil tabs and is shown holding 11 total supplements/pills. If you need more sorry, you’ll have to program this with different settings and use one of the other dozen different ring options. Julos has done a great job covering multiple angles and programming needs. They also provide safety features like a key for the batteries and the supplements. This protects against a toddler, a senior, or a person who needs support with daily tasks from causing harm to themselves in making a mistake with medicines. I give this a hearty 5 Star rating!

Very well-thought-out product and lots of flexibility
This is a well-thought-out product and is great for anyone who has trouble remembering to take their medications. It is ideal for caretakers. It has 28 fairly large compartments for pills. The battery compartment and pill loading/time setting areas can be locked - they provide 2 keys. Setting the time is straight-forward. Setting up the alarms may take a little time to get it just right. To start, you choose one of nine template rings which correspond to the number of times each day you take pills. You then set an alarm for each daily time period. (There are 3 different alarm types.) Finally, you load all your pills based on that template. For example, if you take pills 3 times each day, you load 9 days' worth of pills (fill 27 of the 28 slots). Close the lid and you're set. At each subsequent alarm, the carousel will rotate so that period's set of pills can be retrieve by sliding open a door and tipping over the unit. If for some reason, all your pills for a single period are too much for a single slot, you could divide them between two adjacent slots and set the alarms 1 minute apart. For example, suppose you normally take pills twice a day (morning and evening) but you have too many pills to fit into a single morning slot. Instead of selecting the 2 times a day template, choose the 3 times a day template. (Instead of reloading pills after 14 days, you'd need to reload every 9 days since you're using 3 daily slots.) For example, if your morning alarm would normally be set for 9:30am, you'd set the second for 9:31am; the evening alarm would still be set for your usual time. I like that they provide a quick start guide (as well as a more detailed user guide.)
