It Fell In The Parking Lot

To those of you concerned about fragility, I have made matcha lattes by pouring hot tea and cold milk into these and they have held up just fine, but today takes the cake. I set one of these on top of my car when I got to work and it fell and hit the paved parking lot. The lid shattered into big pieces, but the cup bounced and was completely unscathed. I can't tell you much about the straw, as if somehow managed to fly into my car and land on my floor mat. It's fine, but who knows if it would've split if it had hit the road. I'm impressed. These cups are super easy to clean (I hand wash mine,) the seal is solid, but you do have to shove it down sometimes since it moves up closer to the top of the lid the more you open and close it. The glass is on the thinner side, but it survived an impact with the road for the most part, so I'd say it's durable. You're not putting microplastics into your body and it's infinitely reusable, so I'd say it's a good value for when you're paying. If you're on the fence about durability, I certainly tested that for you all today Update: I've had these for a hot minute now and I've noticed that my fancy clear ones have started to act up a bit. I only ever handwash these, but the little rubber gasket that goes around the lid has started to slip off when I'm washing it, and I can't fully close the lid anymore when it's in use. The little gasket slides up on one side when I try to close it and there's no way to fix it. It certainly still works. It just looks a bit awkward. For my pink set, the gasket on one of them is stained because I was drinking green tea mixed with juice and the juice had carrot in it. So, be aware that the gaskets will stain and show their age over time. I still recommend these though, and I don't feel it's worth removing any stars.

They're more durable than they look💜

I love these cups! This is the second time I ordered cuz I broke the first two and not because they're not durable, they withstood hell 5 times over before I finally shattered them. You see, I'm as clumsy as they come and I mean an absolute train wreck.. so the fact that lasted as long as they did with me was a miracle. They only broke cuz I couldn't stop dropping them and I was so sad about it cuz I loved them so much! Hopefully I'll do better this time lol but yea, these cups are very easy to clean and they hold a lot of liquid. I think the design and color are beautiful. I can't really say if they keep your drinks cold for longer or not as I personally don't use ice in my drinks. But all in all I love these cups and I absolutely recommend.
