Reliable Power Bank, PPS and PD Support, Full 74WH for 20,000mAH Power Bank
I got this JUOVI 90W power bank because a few of the listing details impressed me given the price (currently $53). I use power banks all the time because I like to work outside on my deck, or in my fave chair which is next to a window wall with no nearby outlets. The listing promises decent features for the price, especially dual 90W USB C ports. The TLDR on this is that it's a decent power bank, although it didn't deliver on everything perfectly, it's still pretty good. ➡️ THIS ISN'T GOING TO WIN ANY DESIGN AWARDS, BUT THE BUILD IS GOOD, IT FEELS DURABLE AND WORKS FINE This power bank feels sturdy and has a clean matte finish that resists fingerprints. The display is bright and is pretty easy to read, and the ports are spaced well. At 14.1 ounces, it weighs roughly the same as a normal can of soup. It’s not a pocket power bank, but it’s a comfortable size for my pack and I can easily take it on a plane. The overall build is practical, reliable and straightforward, like a sturdy pair of shoes. ➡️ DICIPHERING THE USABLE POWER OF POWER BANK MARKEING MATH The first thing I do, even before I order a power bank, is calculate the Watt hours. Watt hours (WH) measure the actual stored energy in a battery. mAh only describes capacity at one voltage, and that voltage changes once the power bank boosts it to 5V or 20V. It's exactly correct
One of the strange things from this product is that it has a UL Energy verified logo on it. This is normally used for things like air conditioners. Maybe it's a certification that it has the capacity it states. Juovi is more honest than most in that regard. It's a 13000 mAh 5v battery, but most batteries are rated at 3.7 volts, which brings it to around 17k. Not 20k. But, some batteries are lately rating them at 3.2 volts for some reason, so at 3.2 volts, this does equal 20k. They're upfront about it, which is good. You know the exact capacity - some places don't give you that and you're wondering why the 10000 mah power bank only charged your phone to 70% and died. Not this one. I don't think the UL logo means it's safety certified, but it seems to be roughly safe. I power cycled it a few times from 100 to 0 and it seems to turn off and talk with cables correctly. It doesn't force too much power through cables that shouldn't have it, so make sure you have a certified cable when trying to do 90 watts. Some cables might do 90 watts with some power banks, but other power banks will only send it through cables it's reasonably sure will do it. I did get 90 watts out of this power bank - in fact, I got more than 90 watts. I charged my Jackery and got 86-88 watts the whole time, but the Jackery reports about 10% less than it actually gets, so it was likely charging at 92-95 watts. The Jackery charged the Juovi at the stated 65 watts, or, more accurately, 70 watts according to the Jackery which underreports by 10%. When I was charging my Jackery with this, it was difficult for them to negotiate which one was which on the USB-C side, so they just both did nothing. If you're in a situation where you are using this power bank to charge another power bank, either use USB-A, which will work, or, you can do what I did, which is use a barrel plug adapter which makes the second power bank look like a dumb unit that will only accept power. Anyway, I was impressed that this power bank is so honest, hits its specs, and is reasonably priced for the power output it provides. Very impressive.

This charger is fast, rated at 2.0. My phone accepts up to 65 watts of wired charging and this power bank chargesymphone very quickly. With the high capacity, I can get at least three full charges on my phone. Although this might be a bit bulky, it's not as bulky as the older 20000mah power bank it replaces. It's got a sleek design and the led display is nice, my older one does not have this. It has four outputs, two USB A and two USB C. The USB C ports are also for charging the power bank. It works perfectly for me and is my new travel power bank when not flying (power bank larger than 10000mah are not allowed on flights) and I'm travelling with it now as I wrote this review.
