Solid, sleek and makes amazing coffee!
Loved this machine. In my opinion, worth every penny. However, after setting up, we realized the likelihood of needing “twin” option was probably something we would hardly use, so we used the 30 day return option and got the z10. I will review that next. I will say, it was very scary placing an order for a second machine (over 5k on on credit card, because we held onto this one, while we waited for the z10 to arrive without knowing 100% that they would accept the twin return and give the full refund- since it had been open and set up!) all of the places you can purchase Jura machines, will do a demo, before you purchase, but once the box is open, they won’t allow a return! So this option alone, seemed like a no-brainer. We could literally have the machines, side by side; at home, to compare and decide which was best for us: so I took the risk and it paid off. The z10 offered a really cool cold brew option, that the twin didn’t have. I know a couple people who have other Jura models and literally everyone’s who has them says the same thing. Best coffee ever! Coolest design, quality is top notch! After boxing up the return and dropping it off, my anxiety increased each day! First it said return was being processed and even gave me a date, it would be done. Counted down each day. As the day was approaching, the status changed to “reviewing item and may not be full amount for refund”. I felt sick. I called Amazon and they assured me, as long as I was within the 30 day window to return, the full refund would be processed. They were right!! Within a couple of days, the status changed and they did the full refund!! It was a bit of a process and certainly would have been easier, had I been more decisive about what features I wanted, but in the meantime, I was able to have both items, in my home, side by side and made it easy for me to choose!! Thank you so much for allowing this!! It made all the difference and I will certainly use Amazon and this company again!

I'm In Love
Did considerable research after my 20+ year old Saeco Xelsis finally gave up, old friend owing me nothing! Ultimately chose the Jura J8 Twin, mostly for the two grinders because my partner likes caffeine and it's definitely not good for me. Why should he have to add grinds in a chute when I'm getting freshly ground beans? Although I have only been using it three days and have not yet made time for learning how to set a profile, I'm in love. Using only default/factory settings, have not tasted anything but a fabulous cup of coffee, cappuccino, espresso... Purchased the white, and it's Very attractive. Nice big, colorful screen. Didn't think the Coffee Eye would be helpful - I was wrong. Price aside, go for it!

Don’t kid yourself: All coffee makers are not created equal. JURA is simply “next level” and consistently makes the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had, regardless of what or how I chose to drink coffee. The J8 has a number of features and quite honestly, it may take me the rest of my life to figure out/discover. Treat yourself to one of life’s best. You deserve to start and finish your day with the best cup of coffee you’ve ever had.

Yes, it's worth the money
Admittedly, the price tag is a hard pill to swallow, but if it's within in reach for you and you want/need twin grinders like we do, this is the machine. My wife loves having 50DeCaf/50Caf fresh ground espresso in her latte, and I can have my drinks full strength. Simple control panel. If we could time travel, we would buy this the day it came to market.
